Possibly, although I'd be more inclined to think that Frankie may have walked due to Jason being brought back. She was apparently a big fan of Louie Spence as well so was bound to be unhappy at him being dropped and Jason being brought back!

As for all the people slagging off Frankie, I've had correspondence with her on Twitter several times and she's always come across as absolutely lovely to me. She's great at replying to fans, probably one of the best DOI pros for that. I know that's hardly the definitive judge of someone but for me, it counts for quite a lot!

I didn't like Frankie when she 1st started, but she grew on me when she was partnered with Chris Fountain and continued to do so during her time on the show.
There are certain pros such as Dan, Matt and Frankie who had become as synonymous with DOI as Torvill and Dean and the headbanger and it is a shame that she is no longer there.

The thing about exposure would ring truer if the pros were actually able to stamp their personalities on the show at all. Obviously the big difference between DOI and SCD is that on DOI the pros aren't choreographing routines (or if they do do some of it they're not credited), so you don't get a sense of how they really like to skate and how they want the partnership to develop - it's all subsumed under a big wave of 'aren't T&D great?' With so much filler in the shows now they hardly get a chance to speak at all on camera. I doubt it's much of a gig compared to a big ice spectacular in terms of enhancing your career ”

This is just a personal thing of mine but i am not remotely interested in the "pros" on either DOI or SCD, i see them really as a vehicle there to showcase the "celeb", so i really dont give a stuff about what they say or think.

She went to school with my girlfriend. Her name is Francoise Thacker - or it was at school anyway
