1) Great opening group performance.
2) Despite going first and battling nerves - Samia gave a great performance. Looking forward to seein her do some skating on her own.
3) Keith was great, I was pleasantly surprised.
4) Felt abit sorry for Pamela.
5) Matt and Beth were also good.

Jason v Louie = Louie everytime.
Ashley - waste of space.
Matt - good but cocky.
Beth - a delight. I know from mums and dads of young gymnasts that Beth gives both time and encouragement to those who aspire to emulate her success. My favourite of the night.

1) I don't like Jason being back, he annoys me - so I FF through the judging again. Last year's panel was the best there has ever been, by miles.

2) What an amazing level all the skaters got to in week 1! Very impressed, even the poor skaters like Shayne were 'ok' for week 1.

3) Keith Chegwin, whoever would have thought it, I actually enjoyed watching him skate. I don't know what he was doing technically, because I was mostly watching his face, he's very obviously having a ball, how refreshing. I'm glad he was in the skate off though, because I got to see his take on Carmina Burana - and enjoyed that too, although it wasn't fair he was there at all.

4) PLEASE can we lose all the damned lifts? It's VERY boring.

5) DOI is much better when watched on the ITV player, can FF through all the bad bits (VTs being stupid, judges - Jason opened his mouth for the first time, and then he was gone ) show condensed to just over half an hour. (Although there is no escaping the ads, they can be banished to a minimised window while I do something else).

1 The overall skating and opening number were very good.

2 I'm bored of Jason's negativity already. I liked Ashley a lot (I didn't watch I'm a Celeb...)

3 I'm glad Keith was saved. He genuinely wants to be there and was actually very good. I loved his song choice for the skate off

4 At first glance, I thought Shayne Ward was Matthew Wolfenden in that outfit I was surprised at Shayne's skating. I don't know why, but I just presumed he'd be another Ray Quinn/Matthew Wolfenden.

5 Christine reading out Phillips bit from the autocue was quite funny I like Christine; I thought the DM headline slating her appearance on the show was pathetic.

1. Jane's dive from her great golden skirt in the opening routine was spectacular!
2. Glad Cheggers was saved, he has a good attitude, but felt sorry for Pam and Matt, she did have grace and style and potential .. Shane was probably the weakest.
3. Bring back Katerina, ditch Ashley! She is an airhead!
4. I like the fact that they do a different routine for the skate-off.
5. Not interested in the showmance between Sylvain and Samia, but I am interested in seeing Sylvain, so I hope they can stay in for a long while!
