I watched the rest of the programme earlier today. Agree with Rubbish Name. She surely HAS to want her life to be like this. 'Professional Martyr' springs to mind. And she's made martyrdom become very very profitable. Pity she doesn't use her undoubted intelligence to sort herself out - health, first of all.

One can be vegetarian/vegan and healthy. She obviously isn't. She looks so drawn and frankly, ill. IF any part of her boasting about how little she eats is true, then she's extremely malnourished.

Then there's her confession in a recent article about downing all that Prosecco. That really doesn't help, especially on a basically empty stomach. OK, wine contains calories, but not the sort of maintain good health.

All this semi starvation can't help her thinking processes - the mess she's made of her finances for years, when she's earning so much. Then her attitude - she flies off the handle at people, treats everyone from The Baker, to her family, to those unfortunates who serve her - so damn rudely. But can't seem to understand 'cause and effect'. Traducing the Baker, family, friends, even the Baker's ex, in her Diaries? Surely no-one in good mental and physical health would do that. I'm a retired freelance journalist, wrote a newspaper column for many years and always remembered that 'you NEVER settle old scores in print'. My editor would never have allowed it in any case.

Like someone said up-thread - I feel sorry for her too. Years ago, I had some correspondence with her about cats and she came across as charming. Plus - she CAN be a really good writer. Her books have some great passages and she can be extremely funny, but unfortunately the 'poor me' theme has crept in since then.

I really hope that: she gets her finances sorted and rents a nice place. Then rehomes all those animals. And gets expert medical advice and STARTS EATING PROPERLY.
I'm surprised you haven't mentioned your personal experience of LJ before now.

Can I just point out that there appears to be Not one single photo in existence of LJ looking remotely anorexic?

Also there aren't any photos of the massive breasts era either.

That woman must think everyone except her has a head that buttons up the back. Still, nobody has ever over estimated the gullibility of human society yet.

I have mentioned seeing her around in Islington (where I live). My correspondence, years ago with her, by email, was when I read her Diary only in the print edition of the magazine. It was about one of her cats that had gone missing when she lived in Gibson Square, Islington. I lived nearby and had a cat, and we had a brief email exchange about the missing cat - that thankfully turned up (but I think has since died of old age). As I said previously, she came across as extremely pleasant.

This is the photo that she trots out from time to time to illustrate her youth. I see no sign of anorexia, nor breasts so enlarged they required 'hacking off', nor a face attractive or interesting enough for modelling. I apologise that it says 'frisky' in the corner, I can think of nothing less titillating.

According to her none of the animals die a natural death.

No sign of the acne Lorraine Ashton rejected her for either. Maybe for the first and only time in her life she followed her advice. (Yeah, right)

Bit of acne round her chin in the picture, but apart from that it's just quite a normal picture.
No sign of the huge breasts, as said in another post.

Exactly. Every single thing in her life is exaggerated, turned into a drama, or inflicted on her by others.

I watched on catch up and it made me angry. As others have said, she's thin to average. If she had ever been properly anorexic I know she would have provided graphic photographic evidence. It's a hideous disease, and to use it to make you more 'interesting' is deplorable. She's a binge eater if anything IMO.

I saw one once of her at her wedding - a candid shot - and she looked emaciated.
Wait, here it is:http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/...14_224x580.jpg

I don't doubt that she has had anorexia or been treated for anorexia - she talks about it at a time when people didn't take as many pictures as we do today - and I also believe it's possible to be a functional anorexic. A good friend of mine's close relative has never been treated for it, but is always bone thin and avoids eating as much as possible. I do believe that LIz has an eating disorder and probably elements of body dysmorphia as well.

She's a nasty woman but I don't think poking fun at her looks is kind.

WIsh I could see the doco!

In the meantime, the Dreary of the week has vanished from the site. "In which I read David's emails". I want to read it so I can go "FFS LIZ WHY STOP IT".

Well it was there just now when I read it!

It confirmed in me that anyone who either invites her to stay or stays with her is mad because, as soon as their back is turned, she'll be rummaging through their stuff to see what she can find out. Nosy old bag!!

Still being nasty to completely innocent parties, like florists who deliver flowers as per the orders given to them - they wouldn't last long in business if they didn't.

She says she drove to Leyburn to deliver the housing form - does that mean she is staying in the same area?

I also think today's fashion article is dire - women out in pj's - do we need it?

Oh dear, looks like Liz is alone once again and short a cat. Still less cats to ruin the new rental pad I guess

How does LIz not understand that when you have children with a person you have a connection for life? And how does she also not understand that people divorce for a reason and that sometimes you can retain a warm and loving friendship with an ex? She's so pathologically jealous, no wonder David didn't mention it.

I bumped into a dear ex the other day. When I see him I feel warm and secure. He's in a happy relationship with someone else. We're no threat to each other's present lives. Stupid LIz.

And why go through his emails? Privacy!!

David taking Prudence means he's not to be trusted - this, coming from the woman who, among other things, stole an ex's sperm to try and impregnate herself, trolled David's ex via HIS Facebook account and read his personal emails while he was asleep!

Dear God! The woman's nuts!

Lying cow - Prudence was never either of their cat - she belonged to David's ex girlfriend who has asked for her back several times.

Oho! Where is Dominodarling, original owner of said cat? I want to know what has really gone on here. There is obviously something behind this whole thing and LIz is not telling..

I wonder if Liz has dumped him via this article? Odds on Dreary tantrums when he stops texting and sending flowers because "I only said I was upset about Prudence"?

It's Prudence! Wasn't she Dominodarling's cat? Or at least the cat she shared with the Baker when they were together which the Baker left with Liz without Domino's permission? Yikes!

Does she even have a leg to stand on calling the police citing theft? Yes she might have paid for everything for her in those three years (shameful of him not to contribute mind) but does that automatically make the cat hers? The kidnapping/reclaiming of Prudence is the most interesting thing to happen in Liz's columns for a while IMO!

As for the dreary and the 'cliffhanger' "he started to talk" - is anyone even interested any more? I won't be sitting on the edge of my seat until next week wondering what banalities he comes out with *roll eyes*

Suzy Cat, you may want to look at the photos in the kidnapped cat article. Not an anorexic body by any means.

He starts to talk and says, "Lizzie, you need a holiday. I've booked us 2 weeks in... (wherever she went). Don't forget to pack your Myla undies".

Unless, of course, when he spoke, he finally ended their toxic relationship?

In which case next week's dreary will all be "he said" and "I said", all from her point of view - ie LJ's usual boring gibberish?

Not now, no.

But it is entirely possible to have a "slim/average" body and have an eating disorder, and I believe she has one.

No. It's not possible to eat what she claims to eat and have a slim/average figure. That's nonsense. You thinking it's possible doesn't make it so. The medical diagnosis of anorexia demands an extremely low BMI. See my link above to view what an anorexia patient looks like.
She is a liar, proven by her being caught out many times. Anything is fair game if it can be put in a column. The cat kidnap stoey contains several untruths.

I have friends with eating disorders of the restrictive type who are not underweight. I do believe she has one.

Of course she's exaggerating like a lunatic about only eating one pea a week or whatever. But I believe she HAS been anorexic in the past and retains some anorexic habits and attitudes.

Meanwhile and more importantly PRUDENCE!
