You're right, of course, Sunstone. I forgot for a moment there that it is unlikely that any pearls in pawnshop incident ever happened.

You have a point
. Except...if what you say comes from her own diary/column accounts, it's possibly just more of her 'poor me' bs. I absolutely agree she may be completely lacking in taste, but I do read her fashion stuff (which I've said before is actually quite good, when she's not voodoo-dolling people) and though it pains me to say this, she does know her stuff and I really doubt she wouldn't know the value of something like pearls. It's pretty basic 101. But we may have to disagree on this ![]() The piece on VB recently was simply unhinged, in my opinion, and seemed to come straight from the bottom of the bottle. The fact that the editor didn't step in makes me think DMGT are in the process of giving her enough rope. The Dreary should have garnered hundreds of comments, but it is wallowing in double figures. The 'book' is at 11,000 or something in the Kindle list, despite her international whoring it out to anyone who'll listen (the Irish press seemed to suffer even more than the UK's). Nope,l time's up, I reckon, and I suspect that, without a guaranteed income, her dreams of a mortgage will remain just that. |

Spare Change Guv?
By the way, Her Lizzieness turned up on the telly on Saturday, quite by accident. She was attending a demo in Trafalgar Sq. and was in the background when some talking head was being interviewed (she was unaware of this). I have to tell you, dear reader, that she looked absolutely shocking! Grey tracksuit bottoms and some sort of shapeless giant cardie or something, looking non-too-clean and with hair is full 'Medusa' mode. Her body language was very odd too... fists clenched and very anxious. It was probably past opening time or something. Worth ferreting out... it was the teatime bulletin on Meridian.

Thanks CollieComber! No doubt we can expect one of her 'in-depth', well written (ahem!) articles about it soon.
Here's the link for Meridian news. http://www.itv.com/news/meridian/ You have to scroll right down to the article near the bottom titled: Live Exports Campaigners March In London. She appears in all her 'glory' for a few seconds about 1min 20 in. Scary! No wonder she's banned from some fashion shows, though I'm sure she'll be quick to tell us that it's 'designer' scruff and the exact price of the combats and sloppy grey jumper

CollieComber from having read her opus and also her ramblings on Galliano (maybe she drinks it in honour of the disgraced one) I don't think Lizard would be exactly pro Jewish. I could be completely wrong and most likely it's not something she has ever thought about since her every thought seems to be mememememeeeee!
Her hand job (fnarr fnarr) is genuinely the stuff of nightmares going by that news clip. |

Ah well, you know what they say about big hands in a woman... or is it big feet ?
Whatever, she looks in a right state there... which is probably why no-one asked to interview her. Odd though, that such a tireless campaigner for animal rights never once mentioned this rally or that she was attending it. |

So now she's trotted out the pearl necklace story (probably the only pearl necklace she's ever had, fnnnaaaar fnaaaar) for what seems like the fourth time, does she honestly not remember writing it before, or is she on some kind of loop, repeating the same maudlin shite forever?

Actually maudlin is the wrong word. She puts the "aggressive" in "passive agressive". I've never read such determinedly self-victimised and hard-done-by (and to) tripe. If she were a Dickens character (Miss Whyme) she would be totally unbelievable.

It'll be interesting to see do the DM actually feature this event in the paper. It seems from the wording of the invitation that the whole purpose is to provide some pro Lizard propaganda but it mightn't work out for them. |

It seems that only two attendees had read the 'book'... and they both hated it! There was a certain amount of hostility, by all accounts...

Two attendees have read or can read? I can't get my brain to accept that if you have read her book you couldn't feel anythng other than hostility toward the Lizard.
