Actually, Liz, if you were an adult/functioning person, your natural response to hearing about the funeral would be: "Oh I'm so sorry...was it someone you were close to? Are you OK?" Not "WAAAA! I wanna go to the funeral! I'll thcweam and I'll thcweam and I'll thcweam till I'm thick!" followed by her default knee-jerk impulse: a personal insult based on weight.

As for the MoS article....what is the point in all those "white" references? (That's not a rhetorical question BTW...I genuinely don't understand what she's getting at. What has that got to do with anything?) I'm genuinely intrigued to hear from her supporters (who will no doubt tell us how "hilarious" her latest diatribe is) for an explanation.

And how many more times are we going to get that well-used "they wouldn't talk to me like this if I were a posh man" mantra? When will she twig that people take against her not because she is female and middle-aged, but because she is rude, insulting, spiteful, self-important, and has a vicious tendency to react to any disagreement by spouting insults about people's weight, dress sense, hair loss, or the ever-present assumption that they are being bullied by horrible controlling wives. All these things say far more about Liz than they do about any of the people on the receiving end.

Hi sunstone, I couldn't see any mention of whose funeral it was. That says it all really, no thought to the person who has died or his/her grieving family; the funeral was simply regarded as an obstacle to Liz doing what she wanted, to be greeted with a foot-stamping sulk and a nasty comment about the FRS's weight (which, incidentally, only seems to have become an issue in the past couple of weeks as he's mysteriously morphed into her ex husband!)

Didn't she once take a similar attitude when recounting her own grandfather's death? I'm sure I remember a story about how her evening was ruined because he was knocked off his bike and killed, and this tragedy was presented purely as an inconvenience that stopped her from getting off with the boy she had her eye on?

It's a Radio 4 interview in September 2012 of about 3 minutes. LJ claims that she has no friends and no family will talk to her (but fails to mention the imaginary rock star boyfriend) and spent her birthday alone.
Also claims women love her becuase they can relate to her as she write about 'real things'.
She says that the main reason she married her (ex) husband was so that she could write a newspaper column about him (it's about 2 minutes in)
Astonishingly the Radio 4 interviewer doesn't challenge her on that or the other bizarre statements she comes out with, such as telling people she stole her ex husband's sperm and she only wrote about it to warn men about how manipulative 'women' can be.
Her quivery 'deaf' tv voice has gone in this interview too- it's a medical miracle!
She is a socialised psychopath- tells so many lies she actually believes most of them. When other numpties in the media don't challenge her either, that helps feels even more entitled to bullshit people.

Hi glaschelle. I feel very sorry for you if you have to work alongside someone like that. I still shudder with anger when I think about my own experience with a certain individual. She too spent most of her 'working day' (inasmuch not much work actually got done) deliberately causing trouble for others. Initially, she'd go all out to be BFF with people, buying gifts and inviting them to her home, etc. When these people woke up and realised how vile she really was, they'd back off and try to avoid her. Then she'd go in for the kill, even going as far as trying to get them sacked for having the audacity to try and break contact with her. The way she spoke to people who irritated her in some small way was shocking, and she was sometimes threatened with physical violence. Anything told to her in confidence was everyone's business in no time at all and she also had no qualms spouting personal details about her own affairs. In between whining about her lack of popularity, she seemed to take a perverse dellight in also revelling in it. Despised by practically all who knew her, no-one was sad to see the back of her when she left. Weird creature. Sound familiar?
