No chance
""The first thread was closed after a number of offensive comments. The latter threads were closed as they were follow-ups. There's no point us closing a thread if you're just going to make a new one to continue the discussion. Posters can't seem to control themselves in those threads.
Quote: I have not heard anything about the lady in question for a few days now. Then there's little point in having an open thread discussing her. This thread has been closed as it is in violation of our community guidelines: [url]http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/a...hp?f=108&a=319[/url""] Really this is getting ridiculous now. So you can only discuss someone you have heard about in the last few days? I'm not even that bothered, I only chip in now and again but it's frustrating and annoying - at least be honest DS and tell people what they are allowed to discuss. Offensive comments should, of course be alerted and deleted but there is no clue as to which comments were deemed offensive, multiple threads were locked after completely innocuous comments - most posters were baffled and there is no platform for explanation. Is there really a need to lock every single thread ?- just delete the offensive posts. I am not a fan of KP or PA. But I would like to retain the right to comment on anybody in showbiz. (within community guidelines obv...!) 3-2-1 ...padlock |

The Pete's "suffering" thread is fine though
Even the name of the thread is wrong, and the evil sarky posts on it, it was so bad I stopped posting on it. |

Actually I think it was much better to have one thread dedicated to each - saves having numerous threads about them cluttering up the showbiz forum

Well I dont go on that thread as I havent ever watched his show or listened to his music - I find him as dull as ditch water so dont have anything to say. And I am bored to tears with the he is/she is worserer... My point is there seemed to be nothing at all libellous, or against the community guidelines, offensive or anything to warrant the shutting down of 4+ threads.

Funny thing is everyone on the Pete thread finds him dull and boring too but they have plenty to say ![]() They don't watch his shows or read anything about him either!!! Anything that was posted in the KP threads was truth and links to whatever she had said herself. If there was anything offensive said, the removal of the post should cover it. But I think there was too much "alerting" going on, the mods were probably pee'd off
