Was reading in the Italian news earlier (I do this from time to time to keep my Italian fresh) that Pope Francis accidentally bumped into Cardinal Laws who was skulking around the Basilica of St Maria Maggiore, and promptly told him to pack his bags as he was going to spend the rest of his life in a remote monastery.

If that is indeed true then I suspect that this cardinal will be for the chop (although I haven't heard the interview so don't know what it was, exactly, that he said).

Why did the police have to raid the property, if a group people have been campaigning for years to have paedophiles brought to justice why withold information?

So Dickens has a big, big list of Paedophiles (?) but is more concerned about PIE being shut down?

I can't make sense of his thinking, surely children being abused should have been his primary concern?

Cardinal Wilfrid Napier asked to return to the Nolan Show to clarify his comments on paedophilia after last night. He confirms he believes an abuser may not be criminally responsible if he himself was abused.
