Storing open/unused flour tortillas?
Does anybody have any top tips for storing the rest of the tortillas I've just opened. Trying to avoid them going hard and in the bin.

Wrap them and freeze them.
You can wrap them individually if you want. I stack two together, fold them in half, then wrap in foil. You could use clingfilm or freezer bags. If you freeze the whole stack then it's hard to get one or two out with pieces snapping. They don't take long to defrost natually but even quicker with a few seconds in the microwave. Obviously if you use foil then remove it before nuking. |

I buy Mission tortillas all the time - we eat loads of wraps. They keep well in the resealable bag, even for a few days after the sell by date. Keeping them somewhere cold helps, and you can freeze them too - they defrost quickly.

I usually just keep them in the packet and store them where cereals and things are. If they go a bit hard, they are alright, they're only flour and water really so I pour a teaspoon of water on the hard bits and put it in the microwave on a plate for 30 seconds. If you want a cold wrap, leave to cool five mins before making.
