Does anyone really buy the "attraction" between Sophie and Jenna?
Firstly, to be blunt, I don't see much range in Jenna. She's permanently a ball of quiet frustration and anxiety. I'll be impressed if she can even pull this off in a tiny way, but I can't see it happening.

They really have no chemistry and given the amount of time spent together I just don't buy it. Sophie I can kind of believe as you still have some really silly crushes at the age of 18 but Jenna? Jenna, I think we're meant to believe is an educated well spoken woman, and Sophie (although I love her) is a shouty little drama-queen oik. Which is fine to be when you're 18 but what would a 28 year old find attractive in that?

This has disaster written all over it, they have zero chemistry and given Jenna's range it won't be a patch on the Sophie & Sian phenomena. Fans won't buy it and Jenna will be out the door.

Although I write this I am also sad to write it because I believe it will happen and that's a shame for Krissi Bohn as it would be so thrilling to be asked to be on Corrie. You can really have a long and successful career if you're a great actor fortunate enough to have good scripts. I imagine it would be heartbreaking to be written out so quickly. So in a way I also hope I'm wrong.

I don't get it at all. It's easy to see Sophie developing a crush on the woman who literally helped her back on her feet but I cannot see what Jenna sees in Sophie. Thats before the whole Dr/patient thing (I know Jenna's not a Dr, but you know what I mean)

I also can't understand how, or why she went from a highly paid private clinic when we first saw her to NHS at WGH ???

I don't get this whole Jenna/Sophie thing either, Jenna would've been better off with Kevin, as he could do a with a successful relationship away from Sally, Sophie/Jenna have zero chemistry together, I find their scenes together awkward..

I've warmed to Jenna (certainly more than Mandy) but her relationship with Sophie makes me want to wince.

All their conversations seem to follow a pattern of Jenna telling her that 'she can't see her or buy her something outside of work/I've deferred you to another physiotherapist/You are on the mend -- not many appointments left' which has Sophie moaning.

she looks like a bloke that means neither sawfie or kevin stand a chance, plus she's just unlikeable with a massive chip on her shoulder big enough to feed a 3rd world country.

As for sawfie, as its got no friends and is another one totally unlikeable its anything with a pulse in her immediate orbit becuase its not like shes got any mates to go out with to meet other people and as she's never off her arse she has to latch on to anything that happens to wander the street.

I am glad Kevin is reporting her. Why shouldn't he, it didn't stop Jenna squealing to Sally and Sophie about Kevin leaning in to have a kiss. Hope she loses her job, she wasn't thinking of that when calling round to the house and socializing with her patient.

I agree with some of the points you've made, especially in regards to the age gap and Sophie being a shouty 18 yo. It's frustrating but I'll take what positive (?) LGBT storylines I can get from the Corrie writers.

Don't get me started on the ridiculous Marcus/Maria storyline.

BIB, that's a bit harsh. I think she is a lovely lady. No I don't buy into the Sophie and Jenna relationship either but I wouldn't base that opinion on her looks.

I'd agree about reporting her if he was doing it for the right reasons i.e. concern over his daughter's welfare but I think he's only doing it for revenge after his bruised ego as a result of Jenna not only being a lesbian (thus shattering his chances with her) but then further humiliation as she's secretly getting off with his daughter.

I mean wouldn't it also have been unprofessional if Jenna was into men and had a relationship with Kevin, her patient's father? He's a total hypocrite.

Why should he, he tried it on with her first and she rejected him and then Sophie did the same despite Jenna telling her many times its unprofessional, Sophie didn't care the consequences or back off so it totally her fault, I don't buy the storyline at all but if anyone is too blame it is Sophie.

The fact she bitches and has a go at other people all the time such as Lloyd, her mother and Kevin, its time she has her comeuppance. If she cared so much about her job that she has worked hard for, why would she throw it away on Sophie?

Mind you, if she loses her job she will forget it in a few days and end up working stitching knickers in Underworld.

I think Jenna has a good actress under there, but so far she's been bogged down in plot. We've saw Jenna go from struggling with the reveal of her dad to a lesbian love affair in weeks without any bedding in time.

It doesn't help that Sophie is a completely unlikable character. Brooke has turned her into a whinge and a bit of a bitch. When she was younger she was the sweetest child, but it's clear the actress is now out of depth and can't handle the heavy stuff. They need to ditch this relationship, because I didn't think it's possible but this is even more horrible to watch than her relationship with Sian. Let Jenna have some breathing space, and send Sophie off to Rosie's for awhile. Make Jenna and Leanne friends. Send Mandy off to look after her dad and bring her back with Kay Purcell playing her, and this family could be made to work.

It's hard to give a monkey's what happens to her after the pious way she behaved when Kevin went in for a chaste kiss! You'd think he had inappropriately groped her, slobbered all over her and she'd had to fight him off the way she went on! I'm not saying he was right but she totally overreacted IMO

Afterwards she went on and on about not being able to continue treating Sophie because 'boundaries' had been broken, which made little madam Sophie kick off at her dad* so her parents practically got on their hands and knees profusely apologising and begging Jenna to work with Sophie again before she eventually gave in. She's a pain in the @rse!

So where were these all important 'boundaries' last night eh? Hope Kevin makes her sweat a bit

(* and IMO when Sophie was kicking off at Kevin he should have reminded her of the £20,000 she swindled out of his account then lost in a con. He forgave HER for that! Short memories these soap characters .....)

Sophie looks like a kid and there was far too many close ups of her face last night, I know she gets the gay vote on here, but to me she's ridiculous and her character was ruined long ago, firstly by God and then by getting it on with her squeal twin Sian

And just a few years a go there were no gay characters, the first gay character brought aawesome stuff, the locals reacting in shock, homophobia, support.. That's what you want, true reactions

From a street which never had a gay character to every other character seeming gay is ridiculous
