Noggin the Nog

and if his reputation hasn't been destroyed by all the urban myths etc.

Captain Pugwash

also The Clangers

Though in any case not sure any of them count as CBBC as such as they all predate the concept of CBBC.
A few episodes of Noggin the Nog were shown on BBC4 in 2011 as part of a season of programmes about Iceland

if we're using the same criteria as ITV did then none of the US/overseas cartoon imports can be included

Jonny Briggs
Jossy's Giants
Why Don't You
Wizbit
Tucker's Luck (technically a BBC2 evening show)
What's That Noise
Record Breakers

plus the other mentioned above (non US cartoons)

Reading through this thread makes me realise just how much I must've watched CBBC over CITV.

The show about a kids cricket team was probably Sloggers, written by Sid "Voice of Darts" Waddell who also wrote Jossy's Giants about a kid's football team
That'll be the one - I used to leg it home from school to make sure I didn't miss any of it.

Jane Danson was in it (Leanne from Coronation Street). The cricket club was called Slogthwaite CC; in real life it was filmed at White Coppice Cricket Club near Chorley.

As for Julia Jeckyll and Harriet Hyde, Olivia Hallinan who played Julia recently starred in Lark Rise To Candleford and the school headmistress was played by Ann Emery who is best known for playing Mrs Meaker in Rentaghost
Exactly the shows I meant, thank you

Never realised it was Ann Emery in that. She's currently in Billy Elliot, must be near 85 and still going strong. What a legend!

Does anyone remember stop it and tidy up?? Was a cartoon narrated by terry wogan I think. No one apart from me and my brother seem to remember it!

The Biz, I loved that show so much
Not sure the name but a cartoon of kids who met in their dreams & had adventures.
The Cartoon of Robinson Crusoe, was that cbbc?
Drama about a Cricket team?
1 where the kids ran a secret business from School

The Raccoons
Animals of Farthing Wood
The Wild House?
Albert the 5th Muskateer
Poddington Peas
mid 90's Grange Hill/Byker Grove
Bodger & Badger
5 Children and It
Record Breakers
Out of Tune
Busy world of Richard Scarry
Charlie Chalk
Julia Jekyll & Harriet Hyde
Moomins
That's one is called Boot Street Band, one of my CBBC favourites! I would have Bertha, Boot Street Band, The Biz, Jonny Briggs,Bitsa, Hangar 17, Grange Hill, and one of the football ones, to see whether it was the programme I remembered.

The above link shows the little girl in the programme, Dinah Glass, is now all grown up, trying to get back into acting!
Hopefully she was "all grown up" in 2005 when she played Nan in an adaptation of Tipping the Velvet.
