Ni No Kuni - Wrath of the White Witch

I just pre ordered my copy. I've been excited about this release for ages since rumours of it development began for the Japanese version. I'd forgotten about it until he news of the delay this morning.

I can't wait to see the Ghibli style graphics unfold with the plot cut scenes and seeing that world around me.

Although I was quite rubbish at Professor Layton so I'm hoping it doesn't involve too many brain teasers and focuses more on exploration and battling.

Looks lovely but unfortunately I hate 'your go, my go' RPGs with a total and abiding passion. Had they made it an full-on action RPG I'd be first in the queue.

lol yeah although I get a bit jumpy with the full on action. I'm a wimp. In my recent Pokemon revival I find the whole "ooh what's next" quite exciting and I get time to think about what I'm going to do next instead of panicing. But get fed up with pressing next all the time and waiting.

The battle scenes looked kind of FInal Fantasy ish to me.

Very excited for this! The delay's a bit of a downer, but at least it isn't too long, only a week. Plus they're giving a downloadble freebie for the game because of the delay. It's been getting some great review scores as well, only adding to my excitement

I saw that on Amazon but it said it wasn't available and didn't say what it included, and was about £60? I got a £20 voucher for xmas so got the pre order for £22 inc the first class delivery

I might buy the guide just for the art work. I'm an artist and can't get enough of looking at the animations of anime, Ghibli in particular.

I remember reading the rumours for the Japanese version. I've been waiting a looong time for this, so a week isn't a bother

especially as I've only just got my ps3 and have to try and complete FC3 before the 1st of Feb!

I wanted to get it, but money is tight at the moment so I settled for the standard version. That said, GAME now have an offer getting a Japanese version of the book for free with a Std. version pre-order, so I'm getting that for no extra cost

Thats not bad, I pre-ordered mine back in July so I have been waiting a fair time. I could do with spending the money on more important things (like the dentist for example) but what the hell, only live once and I can go without that filling for another month!!

My copy was meant to arrive today, however the postman has been and no game :-( It was dispatched from Game on Tuesday, first class post apparently. Bah.

Someone I know received her Wizard edition two days ago but then she reviews games so I don't know if it's because of that or because it was the Wizard edition.

I received an email today from Amazon giving me a code to download two Amazon exclusive Familiars through the PS Store though.

I'm at work all day so I won't know till this evening. Tonight has been booked out for playing it but if not I'll push on through with FC3, I'm 88% through so hopefully Ni No Kuni won't take too long to arrive.

This looks interesting but I don't know if I want to get it. I've downloaded the demo and I'm going to get my girlfriend to play it in the hope that she will buy it instead of me lol she loves Studio Ghibli.

That's a good idea

It got given a masterpiece review on IGN so I'm expecting good things but will try not to get my hopes up to much.

You'll know soon when people play it whether to get it, plus if you wait a month or so no doubt the price will be slashed!

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Reviews are all good by the looks so I think she'll want it so looks like I'll be playing it at some point soon

Still not turned up. None to be had in the shops either. Not downloading it as it was glitched and is an extra tenner. Quite annoyed really. Dispatched Tues, first class. Game won't do anything until 10 days after dispatch. I may just switch back to Amazon.

Snap, mine was dispatched from Game on Tuesday aswell, its so frustrating waiting for the postie and they haven't brought it, so do you think its a Game or Royal Mail problem?
