Ah bless. Maybe he should have held out a bit more and not forgiven her so quickly but he did make her suffer a bit and a declaration of love fromn Jac is HUGE and I'm pretty sure Jonny knows that. It'd be nice if we could see them hapopy for a while but this is Holby so I doubt it.

She didn't even leave a toothbrush at his flat? I presume she carries one in her handbag at all times. I bet there is a fair amount of his stuff at hers.

I did love his speach rehearsal - gaping hole where his heart once was. Poor, poor Jonny. And poor jac - Mo really never giver her a break.

Definitely not wishful thinking.

Maybe following Jac's "excruciating pains" might bring about a reunion a bit sooner though? There's nothing like a life-or-death scenario to bring out a confession of love... :-P
Not excruciating pains but a bang on the head, and a declaration of love from Jac!! Who would have thunk it?!

Loved ALL the Jac/Jonny stuff tonight (especially, obviously, the last bit!!), although agree he could have made her work a bit harder - but then she DID say she loved him (which is probably worth at least 10 years of suffering!!) And I'm sure Jonny's aware of what a massive thing that is for her!!!

Also, have to confess I have given in to temptation and read the spoilers for next week and kitkat's further info (although did manage to hold out till after this week's episode, so the 'which is probably why I love you' line was still a surprise to me). Decided that, as I'd definitely be reading the MT interviews, which I'd have to do by Monday anyway, might as well do it sooner rather than later so I can enjoy getting involved in conversations about them on here. On which point:

Well that ending was a surprise (a very good one!). I kind of think that it makes their love seem stronger that it doesn't need a life or death situation for Jac to admit to it (and also shows the extent of her character development over the last few years).

With regards to the spoilers...

I thought Jac was very human in this episode and especially the locker room scene with Jonny, I really thought she was going to cry, I felt like giving her a hug, the poor girl. She has thawed alot after coming back from Japan

I did love how quickly he snapped back to cool and slightly tormenting once he'd looked through the window and realised she wasn't seriously hurt. Gotta love the run too though He wubs her soooo much but interesting that we didn't see him say it back.

I'm still marvelling at the tooth brush thing. She must be like me and carry one in her hand bag as a matter of course. You'd think he'd have noticed the lack of stuff before now though.

Will Mo lighten up on Jac now that she and Jonny have made up and are happy together? I hope we are done with the snide remarks now.

I doubt it. She was being snidey and suspicious before Jac had even done anything wrong - she'll be 10 times worse now that she knows she has cheated. In fact, I'd say that will probably be a main reason that she stops spending as much time with Jonny and starts being with Sacha.

I mean, she didn't even find Jonny to tell him Jac had hurt herself and she must have known he'd care.

BIB1: I just assumed this was because he was so gobsmacked (love that word!!) at what she'd just said that he was (almost) speechless.

BIB2: I suppose this is possible - if you're someone who's on call perhaps its what you do so you'll always be able to brush your teeth if you're called into work at night unexpectedly??? Either that, or she just doesn't brush her teeth when she's at Jonny's (or like Oli [until very recently] her toothbrush has been yo-yoing between her place and Jonny's, although even that would necessitate it being in her bag at all times, as some of their 'toothbrush required sessions' didn't seem particularly planned!)

I was about to say Janice Taylor. Her husband Alistair was a CT locum (covering for anton after he was shot I think) and Chrissie's first conquest.

I do know of single women that have had IVF on the NHS - I think there are different rules for different Trusts. Age certainly plays a factor - they are unlikely to make someone wait 5 years if they are knocking 40. Certainly when we were referred, my husband and I weren't questioned as to how long we'd been together (it was over 8 years) but we were married I suppose which might have made a difference.

It also probably makes a difference as to what the problem is - if they can't find a specific cause they are likely to advise keep trying but if it is something incurable like severe endometriosis where they know IVF will always be the only chance, they'll press on.

Googled this too and for the NHS there are some national guidelines but also different PCT's have different criteria too.

It's just such a horrible thought isn't it. Not just teeth but what about a change of underwear? maybe she has to keep a stock at work and does it all when she arrives there. I prefer to think she keeps an emergency overnight pack in her hand bag - it is quite big. Yes, that is what I have decided. She looks too clean and well kempt to be someone that sneaks out with cruddy teeth and yesterdays clothes on

Oh no, Jac really does make it hard for herself to get redemption. Also, this gives even more ammunition for Mo who has her on her hit list.

The thing is, the way I see it is that Jac has never had a proper elder mentor (role model) in her life to steer her into the right path. She has basically had to fend for herself all her life personally and professionally and be streetwise and sometimes when a friend or someone is sincerely giving her advice, she misreads it and takes it the wrong way or chooses to ignore it.

I'd be inclined to agree with you. She's built up some massive defences which I think are provoked almost automatically, I'm not sure she can help it. For the most part, I think Jonny understands that, even if he doesn't fully know the reasons why. She clearly trusts him enough to show some vulnerability, but I wonder if this might be too much, too quickly for their relationship...

Wow - 2 whole weeks of letting Jac be happy. And in the midst of all that, shes ill.

They love to make her (and us) suffer
I didn't think the symptoms of endometriosis suddenly appeared in your late 30's - everybody I've known who has had it (friends and pts) has had the pain pretty much since their periods started, which we've never had any indication of with Jac before (I don't think??). Although, I suppose it must be possible for this to happen because presumably Holby normally do try to get the (big) medical things right!!

Also, don't know how Jonny will react to getting slapped - I'm wondering how they get to that point, must be some kind of argument?? Hoping he'll realise there's something more going on and be prepared to try and find out what it is!!!!!

GRRRRR for the spanners yet again!! Will be having words with JY via Twitter if they're too big/to many!!!!!!!
My friend has just been diagnosed in her late 30s. A few years of Gynae problems and now a DX
