They do sometimes add more details at a later date but it is possible that Darwin just doesn't appear at all that week - you don't always have all 3 wards featured

. Not long to wait now till we find out though really looking forward to Tuesday evening!!Didn't realise that about the wards - I just thought all three were in each episode (even if only briefly). Although actually I do sometimes think they try to cram a bit too much in, so it might be nice to have a longer look at just two of the wards (especially if they do it for Darwin at some point as well!) |

I was just about to come on and post about all that. Apparently
Spoiler
Out of spoilers, just speculation, what gender do you think the baby will be? Don't know why but my gut instinct says girl, in which case I wonder whether they will call her Tara? Quote:
Ahh, such a lovely image. I'm really hoping that they do decide to do this to give us a 'feel good' Christmas episode.
You know my suggestion of Alexandra - well I read a fan fiction last night that had used that name. I hadn't seen it when I suggested it - honest. Of course, now it has been in a fan fiction, it is bound to not turn up on screen. Also still think that there's a possibility that, like Faye with Harry, Jac might, if she learns more about Jonny and his family/up-bringing (and specifically what happened to his parents) decide to call Baby Nayonie/Maclor after whichever of his parents is the right sex, or at the very least it'll be her/his second name E.T.A.: I quite like Nayonie as a surname - its got a bit of a ring to it (and Maclor isn't too bad either, but think Nayonie's better) |

Yes it is the one with Lexi-Lou - it's sweet isn't it though I don't understand why Jonny is being so stubborn in not reconciling with her!
I was thinking exactly the same thing - that all the fics are featuring girls with curly ginger hair which might make the show more likely to plump for a boy to be different - assuming that they read any fan fiction of course. I know that it might be out of character for an independent sole like Jac, but I'd quite like it if she just let the baby be a Maconie - whether they end up married or not. After all, I'm not that sure she is keen on her own surname anyway given her family history though maybe she was fond of her Gran which I seem to remember Paula saying the Naylor had come from when Jac changed it from Burrows. Wonder what happened to that Gran as I assume that it was Paula's Mum's maiden name - must have died when Jac was a child I suppose. |

With regard to her surname am presuming she changed it legally at some point (I'd have thought at least before she finished at medical school, but probably as soon as she turned 18) so there must have been some kind of feeling for it because presumably she could have chosen any name she wanted. |

Just nipped to Sony to see an older episode of Holby. Elliot was talking about his days as a junior doctor (relating to losing an expensive pen). He said it was in 1979. Jac responded saying "I was only 5". (I don't know which episode this is as I got in only halfway through!)
Hmm... more spanners into the debate about Jac's age. |

That does actually fit with the revised dates they have given recently. If she was 38 last September then that would mean an April 1974 birth and would also mean that she was 31, nearly 32 when she first arrived which again just about agrees with her having done the required number of years in training and as a Reg to have been going after a Consultants job.
I think that it is best to settle on 1974 now so she has recently turned 39. Serena either got it wrong or Jac slightly fudged her age to divert suspicion when she showed her the scan. I'd always assumed that she was just desperate to shed the name Burrows and yes, probably as soon as she reached 18. True she could have picked anything but with that much choice, I think that you'd look for something familiar, something that you had some link to and if her Gran had been okay with her prior to dying, then her maiden name would be a logical decision rather than just sticking a pin in the phone book. By the way I meant soul earlier, not sole. I know Jac isn't a fish! |

Think I might just wait till they have her 40th birthday (if Rosie's still around) cos the maths is making my head hurt!!!
![]() Agree with you about the surname thing - I like to think of Jac having some nice holidays in and around Bath with her nan and grandad when she was small. When I saw sole I thought of shoes not fish - but knew what you meant

She was definitely the only Holbyverse actor / actress nominated.
I voted for her and do really want her to make the short list but I've got to say, there are a lot of very talented actresses in that lot, women like Olivia Colman, Polly Walker, actresses that have lots of different roles behind them, some of which have been very high profile (Broadchurch, Rome, Prisoners Wives) so are more likely to be known and seen by the general voting public. |

Just the odd tear or watery eyes is very powerful - actually she was close in the theatre scene with Sacha - but full on waterworks like in 'what goes Around' is downright traumatic.
