Agree with both of you about the potential for humiliation. But was also thinking that the way she touched Joseph's photo ever so quickly and then ripped up the invitation (noticed her non-littering rule doesn't seem to apply on Holby grounds) says something about how she feels about the wedding.

Also, let's not forget I could be totally wrong about the whole 'going away for a bit' idea.

It'd be nice if there was a further mention, him getting in touch to ask why she hasn't rsvp'd but I imagine we will never hear of it or Joseph again. We sent our invites out 3 months before the wedding - that's fairly standard isn't it so mid April should be D day.

I think she might be missing a few weeks - it's been quite Jac heavy so I think they'll rest her to re-establish hansenn and also the new junior doctors

A little yes. No disrespect meant to the whoever they got to model but much less pretty. Actually something of a comedown from Jac and Faye who always looked good if nothing else.

She is probably Harry's nanny and he is marrying her because he thinks she will be a good wife and mother.......thats my fantasy anyway!

Oh I definately think that Harry is going to be the prime consideration in this. Nanny or perhaps his Nursery teacher is a good call actually - maybe she got the kids to make that hideously sparkly invite. It looked like a bit of a Blue Peter job.

Yes. A two year can be forgiven for picking a dreadful photo, pritt sticking it on some cardboard and then letting rip with the sparkles. A fully grown adult though? I wonder if they'll let him theme the whole wedding? One comfort, Anne-Marie, Sophia and that stuck up brat niece of Josephs will all hate every minute of it.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm glad to have my Holby family and particularly the fellow Jac lovers to help me get through this latest Jac trauma! I wish I had had this support when Joseph left - I was absolutely devastated and had noone to talk it over with!!!

My mum is a big fan and loves Joseph and Jac but I only see her on Saturdays when we generally rewatch the Sony episodes. No-one else gets it though.

This is car crash tele. Caitlins going to die and jac's going to be suspended isn't she. Witness thr total lack of support fron Elliot and Mo. At least Vanessa whacked her in private, not on the ward.

Really felt for both Jonny and Jac in this episode!!! But was pleased that Caitlin didn't die and that it looks like Vanessa and Sean might work it out (although I don't suppose we'll ever see/hear about either of them again to find out!!!)

Wasn't quite sure why Jonny seemed more angry (certainly initially) with Jac for telling him that she'd slept with Sean than for actually sleeping with him, although perhaps that was the easiest thing for him to think about at the time.

Also, random thought re. any potential pregnancy for Jac - does the fact that Sean and Vanessa were having IVF make it more likely that the baby might be Jonny's???

Also, after Jonny's speech about the 'normal life' he wanted - wife, family, dog, roses round the door - was quite surprised to hear Jac say (with feeling and like she meant it) that she could do that!! Seems like a subtle (but very definite) shift from where she was with Joseph when he left.

I thought that re it being the biggest commitment we've ever heard from Jac. Joseph talked about her wanting a home, family and him having offered her that only for her to throw it away implying that they had discussed their future life wants and plans but we never actually saw it. I think she would have gladly had that with Joseph as well but not at the expense of everything else. Which was again interesting here, not immediately saying yes to Japan, implying she'd have put jonny before her career if he'd been willing to start afresh.

I don't think that means she loves him more than Joseph but that she has realised that men like them don't come along often. She's lost joseph for good and is willing to work harder with Jonny but now she'll go back to licking her wounds. I do wish we'd seen more of the shift in their relationship on screen - when did it change from only sex to them admitting they both felt more and it was serious. We can summise after Xmas but I'd have liked to have seen it!!!!

I really think she'll return pregnant and the IVF thing is relevent. Whether it means it is more likely to be Jonnys or she'll convince herself it isn't Seans only for it to turn out to be I'm not sure.

I have hope for them - at least she was honest and I hope in time he'll see that.

Mo pissed me off again, referring to Jac as She. Elliot wasn't much better. Serve them right if they really struggle without her over the next few weeks.

That car park scene did it for me. I have been won over, I was wrong, Jonny is the right guy for Jac. I felt so sorry for them both but more for Jonny as he looked gutted, but I admire Jac for being honest when she knew he would be devastated.

I get the feeling that Jac has achieved almost everything in her career and she is now kind of ready and willing to settle down, that is why I think she said ' I can do that' and she knows Jonny is a genuine guy who sort of understands her frailties and is willing to put up with them and she knows that she is difficult sometimes.

I think it will work out for them eventually, that is if both actors want to leave together when their exit stories are written.

Right now, I feel like throwing tomatoes at Joseph, if he hadn't sent that cheesy invitation, that was the trigger, I
am convinced Jac would not have slept with Sean and not be running off to Japan to get away from the aftermath ( as she was hesitating when Hanssen mentioned it to her). (Sorry Joseph fans, he's a right plonker in this respect).

I still love Joseph but he has been a total plonker in this. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone (unless they hate Jac and never got the relationship) that doesn't think so.

That's what I meant when I said she'd have been willing to do that for Joseph. Remember when he asked her to move to Penrith she has just been made Locum consultant. It could have taken her years to achieve that again, even assuming that there was a hospital within a 100 mile radius that had a Senior Registrar vacancy. He really was asking her to give up everything she's spent her entire adult (and probably most of school) life working for. If he'd just stayed put (surely GP positions are easier to find than CT Consultants) she's probably have cut down on her hours, helped with Harry and been willing to have more children.

I agree that Joseph has not come out of this well, and it looks like Jac has now realised that she has a real chance of happiness with Jonny. I really hope he can forgive her.

Elliot and Mo were despicable and right now I hate them both, especially Mo.

I wonder how long Jac will be in Japan?? Darwin won't be the same without her.

I really want something to come up that jac specialises in and they end up losing the patient because she isn't there. I'd then love her to tell elliot that she won't come back unless she starts getting some support from him.

I'd actually also like her to fire an email off to joseph saying how insensitive he's been and that he's scuppered her life up.
