TV Dinners - Placenta
So, I was watching a nature documentary and it went on to a bit about cannibalism and for some reason the placenta episode of TV Dinners popped into my head
![]() I haven't seen it for years but did a quick search and it's on 4OD/Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCuGIow-grE Also a part about a homesick brummie woman currying up Italian cuisine. |

I vaguely remembered that and watching it again after all these years it still doesn't sit comfy with me. I was at the birth of my second child and the last thing I was thinking about was getting hold of the placenta to take home to make into paté!!
I'm sure there are better ways of celebrating a birth of a child and as for planting a tree in a pot and burying the umbilical cord in it then pouring the excess blood over it.......well, each to their own I guess. |

They did seem like a new age/hippyish family so guessing that kind of thing is an everyday occurance for them
![]() I liked the way the veggie ate some of it as she described it as a by-product
