I recently bought the phone from ebay to fix the screen. It was listed in ireland.
I received it, fixed it and went to activate it and no sims worked....then....it dawned on me that i got it from ireland!
I found it was on the irish network Meteor! i activated it with a sim i ordered. The thing is i need to get the phone working on 3 network. The modem firmware is 04.12.02
As far as im aware its unlockable? What options have i got?
Is there a Gevey sim that will do the job? Does anyone know a place/site that can unlock this spec of phone that is genuine and not ridiculously priced (£87 one site wanted! stuff that! lol)
How do you know if a site is a scam or genuine there are so many out there! Looking at Meteor Ts&Cs they would unlock once use over £100 which is ridiculous to me!
I am like a dog with a bone with this and dont want to concede defeat! So any help and advice much appreciated
