Have iphone4 at end of contract with Orange,I want to cut bill while I look around,is ther any way to transfer my phone number to a PAYG sim til I'm ready to get another contract then transfer it back.Put the idea to ORange who werent helpful wanted my to have a sim only package but on a years contract,only £10 cheaper and half the usage.

A mate of mine had his Orange number converted to their Pay and Go service about 12 months ago. I guess it's just down to the agent you speak to at the time.

They should be able to just move you on your current SIM to payg, then move you back to contract when you are ready
