I've just remembered where she first caught my attention ... it was as a character called Mel in the TV sitcom Kiss Me Kate, which also starred Caroline Quentin, Chris Langham and Darren Boyd. It ran for three series from 1998 to 2001 and I remember watching it principally because I thought Amanda Holden was gorgeous!
