BB is number 2 on 100 greatest treats of 2004

Just watched the 100 greatest treats of 2004 on C4. BB made number 2 in the list. Watching the highlights made me realise what a good diverse cast of hms we had this year.
Unfortunately it also made me realise how cringeworthy was the moment Nadia was crowned the winner. All that nauseating arm waving and tearful speech. What a load of b****cks.

Lol. Didn't expect Friends to be No 1 nor that loved by celebs.

Yes...........the whole thing compressed into 60 seconds looked quite good.............you forget the hours and hours of Jungle Cat tictactalking, the hours of Jason preening, the long nights when everyone was in bed, the general unpleasantness of them all, the shrieking, the seal-clapping, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

Perhaps for BB6 we should have no live coverage and a minute's highlights every night...........

Nadia Almada winning BB5 would have been a fantastic, heart-warming story, and everyone who felt motivated to vote for her would have felt justified and satisfied that the right person won......except that the revelations about her past has left a bad taste in the mouths of the voters.

The more one reflects on the show, the further away from reality it sems to get. The sex and nudity were, IMO, total turn-offs, and unnecessary, Fight Night being the sole saving grace.

It needs a BB6 to wash away the aftertaste, preferably with no transsexuals or homosexuals if possible.

What an amazing coincidence. Friends which now fills the C4 schedule from the old RISE spot till midnight and BB which brings in the next biggest c4 audiences are the top 2 shows of the year on a C4 show looking for the top 2 shows of the year.

Next we will have a BBC show giving Eastenders a prize as best soap of the year......

Hmmm............and number 3 was Sex And The City, also a C4 show I think..........and no doubt to be repeated from now till Kingdom come

I am fed up to the back teeth with friends, don't think BB5 was the best, nothing will top BB3 and 2 for me and I can't stand SATC either. Ally Beal was bad enough to stomach, was that rubbish in there too ?

I think you'll find that when a channel conducts a poll its "acts" always wins. Anyone remember the BBC top comedy poll earlier this year? It was full of BBC comedies, including the" great" Vicar of Dibley!

Just to give the sheer importance of this CHANNEL FOUR shows findings...it was nestled between Sex in the City and Friends.....frankly after 10 weeks of LBS vaccuousness and Nadia boosting and the show has a left a very bad after taste....

The last few shows just seemed a opertunity for channel 4 to show how fantastic the shows that had obviously spent the most money on

i love friends, glad it was no. 1
I personally thought nadia winning was one of the best bits of bb5 she was so emotional and you could tell it meant alot to her.

That's because the BBC has nearly all of the best and most memorable comedys of all time and if you were implying that The Vicar Of Dibley didn't deserve it's place then you are definately in the minority.
I also think that Father Ted should have at least been in the top ten.

I can't remember the complete list but I can remember thinking that there were plenty of comedies that finished below the Vicar of Dibley that were miles better.
Dawn French and Lenny Henry are two of the most unfunny people going

I doubt BB4 would have managed to come 2nd. Nadia, Michelle and Kitten breathed life into a dying format.

It was #34 in 2003. I'm A Celeb was #32, while Pop Idol was #39 and The Salon was #40... It did quite well to get that high, really.
