They don't - I get on plenty that go Manchester Piccadilly-Stockport-Stoke-Milton Keynes-London Euston.

Was much better than I expected. Good to see that ITV can still produce half decent,mainstream comedy.Couple of decent sight gags, some nice little "in jokes" for us locals, but also nice performances of decent material all round. Will watch again
