So Twilight has been nominated for 11 razzies despite there only being 10 categories, and Kristen Stewart has been nominated for 'Worst Actress' in 100% of the movies she's appeared in during 2012?

I doubt it Have to say though, having been forced by friends to watch most of the Twilight movies at one time or another, she's by no means the worst in that cast! And she's actually done decent work in some of the less high-profile films she's done, unlike most of her Twilight co-stars... and I don't think Eddie Murphy's ever made a decent film!

It's bizarre how some people cannot accept that differing views or dislike of a film is not tied into some kind of conspiracy or a bigger theme.
To them it's never as simple as the fact that a substantial amount of people just don't like it and think it's poor quality. Jeez!

Presumably the "Madea" nom is an attack on cross-dressers, the Eddie Murphy nom is racially motivated, and the "Piranha 3DD" noms for the unfair treatment of flesh-eating marine life!!

Nothing to do with poor film-making obviously ...

Does seem strange for one of the biggest hits of the year to be labelled the worst.
There's bits I enjoy and bits I don't enjoy as much in each Twilight film, but I thought the last one was the best yet.

Then again these awards aren't exactly that serious, I remember Sandra Bullock proudly displaying her Razzie next to her Oscar she won in the same year. lol

The Adam Sandler movie is terrible. Still, I feel the list of Razzies is pretty
"safe" - they never make choices that might provoke debate anymore. Back in the
day the Razzies used to provoke controversy by nominating people like
Kubrick and De Palma for "Worst Directors",:

Those Tyler Perry "Madea" films don't get show in
Europe, do they? Neither did the "Atlas Shrugged"
movies. The Razzies seem US-centric- there was no
nomination for "Sex Lives of the Potato Men!"

although in fairness, was the last twilight film not slightly better reviewed than some prior ones (not that this is saying much!)

haven't seen any of them nor read any of the books so can't comment much though!

It was one of the better reviewed films, and it was also the highest grossing.

I'd understand it being Razzie nominated if it was a flop or a failure in some way, but everyone who is familiar with the series seem to view the last installment as a huge success, especially the ending.

She does choose such awful films though. Despite being a talented actress, about 90 per cent of all her films suck big time.
