Any news rumours of what is coming on IOS 7

Probably a UI refresh, given Scott Forstall's ousting and Jony Ive now being in charge of human interface design as well as hardware design.

It's a bit too soon after iOS 6 for any credible rumours to be around though.

Probably some features stolen from other phone OS's but Apple will make them their own

I think the UI will be slightly re designed. more clean and modern. ect and more new features like widgets as those were all things that scot was stopping.

It'll do what MiUi did and improve the look/functionality.

Shortcuts would be nice, and the ability to see distant wifi networks. And also a more customisable home screen.

I have to say I'm very interested to see what changes Jony Ive's leadership brings. He certainly designs beautiful looking hardware, so hopefully he can similarly improve some of the software.

Whilst I don't have a problem with the functionality, a UI refresh would be welcome!

There wont be anything original to the industry.

There will probably something thats been around for years on other platform and they'll repackage and rebrand it as new.

Given Apple's dogmatic obsession with simplicity, I am not optimistic it will bring anything new to the table that anyone here will get too excited about. Just more idiot-proof simplification with maybe a bit of UI tweakery here and there.

But your Mum will like it.
