Channel 5 showed it last year.It was 1 of their Sunday movies.The only reason i know this is because i recorded it.

I'm not too sure the last time 'Willow' (1988) was shown on tv?

The first time I saw the Disney Robin Hood was over Christmas 1992 on BBC2. I don't know if it was a premiere, but I'm 99.9% certain it was shown back to back with their Sword In The Stone, which definitely was a premiere. Since then I've noticed RH has been on BBC2 fairly regularly since, at all sorts of times of year and different days of the week, as if they have some kind of 'unlimited' deal attached to their copy. I wasn't aware it had been on C5 though - like I say, I last remember it being on BBC2 again fairly recently, within the past few months.

Willow I remember premiered at Christmas 1991. It hasn't been shown very frequently at all since though as far as I'm aware.

If i remember correctly Willow last aired on ITV in 2002/2003

Another film not been on tv in long time is sylvester stallone's Oscar (1991) which also was last on tv in 2002.

Breaking glass (1980) is the one film I would love to see again and get on DVD. I was a young 'un when I first saw this and watched quite a few times. Can't remember if the acting was up to much, but loved the way the songs were interweaved into the story and I loved the songs.

It seems now to get it on DVD you have to pay quite a bit of money and I can't justify that for a DVD, however much I want it!!!

Aah indeed, a fine film of the time but i'll bet it looks flippin' dated now haha (as do i, having seen it waaaay back when Channel 4 first started iirc...i think it was released as an 18 for the cinema run and i wasn't getting away with that lol)

In a similar vein it was good to see 'The Filth and the Fury' on Film4 over the weekend....the famous 'counterpoint' to the original 'Swindle' movie by the same director and packed with footage of the time of the band live and in (erm increasingly infamous and overblown) interviews and the focus of ire from everyone from politicians to A&R men and councillors across the country.....but it was still good to look back at how original the Pistols were at the time (domestically at least, lets not get into the pro/anti-McLaren 'he robbed it all from the New York Dolls discussions....unless it's worth it's own thread haha)...good fun

That is one film I haven't seen, the Filth and Fury. I used to be a real fan of Film4 back in it's early days on C4. I then couldn't get it through my cable package and often forget now I can access it!!! I need to remember to look, so can actually watch the F and F when on again! I was too young for the whole punk thing (although my elder brother was into it) but do like some of the SP's stuff. Be interesting to have a watch.

Yeah I would imagine Breaking Glass would be so dated now! I didn't actually see the film until about 9 years after it was released due to the fact I was a kiddy when first released. But it's a film that has always stayed close to my heart and I do love the whole soundtrack. I can deal with the dated, just want to see it soooo much again

It's got Andrew Keir in it. I believe he was in one of the Peter Cushing Dalek movies, either in 1965, or 1966. Plus, it's also got Julian Glover in this, too. He was in two Dr Who stories, 'The Crusade' in 1965 during William Hartnell's era, and 'City of Death' in 1979, during Tom Baker's era.

Run Wild, Run Free - Drama about a 'mute' boy (Mark Lester) who befriends a horse on Dartmoor.

I have the 2 Peter Cushing Dalek films and remember Andrew Kerr in it !...hes also in one of the Chrissy Lee Dracula films aswell !..good actor !

I thought that Goldie Hawn was great in this movie. Haven't seen it for about 25 years.

'Tribute' 1980 with Jack Lemmon. He was one amazing actor and I saw this at the cinema when it was first released. Saw it again on TV only once in 1987 and never seen it since, not on TV nor is it available on DVD. Wasn't available on video either come to think about it. I loved Lemmon in this film, I would love to be able to buy a copy of this film. I wonder why it is so totally out of circulation...?

Xanadu is a great film.

Gene Kelly was very good in it, the song and dance routine he did for "Whenever You're Away from Me" with Olivia was one of his best.

It was a brave attempt to do an old fashioned style musical, it may seem dated now but that only because it used 80s styles.

Been shown on ITV4 a few time since Christmas.

I'm still waiting for 'Hawks' 1988 to be shown again.

can't tell you when or what channel this was on but my dad watched it on some channel last year and fell asleep
and asked me if I had it, I didn't but ordered it from the states for him.
