Seems straightforward enough, it seems to be a 12 month contract.

You would actually need to keep it slightly longer than 12 months as you need to send in your 12th monthly bill to claim the 2nd cashback. The cashbacks get paid when you send in the 6th & 12th bill from 3.

No you cant really at that price. We will all now have to wait and see if the promised cashbacks are paid without problems.

Firstly let me assure those reading this that I'm a Nokia fan, however I have to say that the 7600 is a bloody awful phone. The Physical User Interface layout will be novelty at first, but believe me after a few days you will want to introduce the thing to a large hammer.

Also, I'm presuming that with a nick like The_Undertaker that you are a bloke. Take a close look at the phone. Its a birds phone. And not a very cool phone - its very very tacky. Its the reason you can buy the phone in some places for as little as £90!

Moving on to the Three network.....

Poor network performance. Limited 3g coverage (80% - around the same coverage that Vodafone had in 1991 !), you can only browse Three approved sites. Dropped calls and very very bad customer service. Just read some of the other threads within this section. In previous forum surveys Three has scored lowest of all networks, including virgin and tesco!

No worries. You can definitely unlock it - for free too. Software on my server if you dont have it.

However I have just noticed that its by redemption! 1st redemption payment after 6 and 12 months. By month 5 you will have paid £150. What if you have problems with Three (likely)?

Take a look at the Motorola V3, Nokia 6260(black or silver), or samsung d500. Good Luck

I know about the bad press it has had '3' but can you use the sim in another handset that is sim free? would it work or is the sim linked to the handset they supply. That handset is bluddy awful!!!

Early Three sims would work in a non-Three phone, but Three released a new version of the sim which now only works with Three handsets, although the sims are not latched to the handset, so you can use a Three sim in another Three phone.

I've attempted to get this 'offer' from carphonewarehouse on the 28th of December only to recieve an email from them yesterday (31/12) saying that they were 'out of stock' but they were expecting a new delivery in the 'next few days' (it seems like a 'standard' email response from them), but they do state at the end of the email that if they do not get the 7600 back in within 7 days they cancel the order - so is this how they get out of doing this too good to be true offer??
I am on a three contract at the moment that runs out 22 January, I had a similar cashback offer with the contract I am on now through The Link and I had no problems at all getting my cashback with them!
Just hope that carphonewarehouse will come up with the goods - but some how I doubt it!

There is nothing too good to be true about the Nokia 7600.

Its the reason a certain network upped the subsidy to the point of loss and distributors are letting the phone out for less that £40.

If the phone was in black it might sell....
