This looks fairly likely to have happened, there had been a lot of tension between her and Nicole last year due to the lack of interaction on the panel. I'm pretty sure that she's going to be replaced by Rita Ora now, since she recently done an X Factor related interview (can't find it just now, still searching)

Rita Ora doesn't exactly seem like the obvious replacement - too much of a like for like there. Lets face it - we all know that right until May, ITV and Cowell will be throwing ever increasing numbers at Cheryl Cole. Then if she says no they'll settle for whoever is available on the cheap like Nicole was last year. I've yet to see anyone suggested that screams "must get the job" and "would actually do it."

Tulisa jumped before she was pushed. Either that or she was pushed. I'd be surprised if she was back this year given how dire she was last year. Nicole totally outshined her, and Tulisa just came across as miserable and talentless.

She "quit" in the same way Britney "quit". Anything to save face I suppose. Her live performance on the BGT final last year remains one of the all time jaw dropping cringeworthy five minutes of my life. There's bad..... there's dreadful... and there is THAT, and to think she sat in judgement on people 100 times more talented than her is amazing !

Urgh, I'm so tired of the constant fictional bickering between the female judges that the tabloids keep reporting. Nicole and Tulisa may not have been best friends but there was absolutely nothing to suggest that they didn't get on. If Tulisa has quit, Nicole is not the reason why.

That word should never be used to describe Nicole. Yes she wasn't the first choice but she impressed me more than Miss Cole ever and continues to do so.

They still would have got her on the cheap...

I know but Nicole is far from cheap so it's fine. I've heard that if she does return this year she'll be offered triple the amount that she was given last year

I was one of the few people who actually liked her, so this is kinda sad. On the other hand.. it's not exactly surprising. I saw this coming a mile away. And she didn't seem that happy with her job last season, so maybe it's for the better that she quit. Give the job to someone else who actually wants to be there, and someone who won't look miserable, lol,

"The *producers couldn't wait to get rid of her. She turned her dressing room into a nightclub and would boom out loud music.
She always did lack class, lord knows what else went down in her dressing room...

"Rumours of replacements include rock star Lenny *Kravitz, 48, and former judge Sharon Osbourne, 60, who may join Nicole and Louis Walsh, 60, on the *panel."

I thought she liked Nicole? They've both said in interviews that they're very good friends. While I'm not surprised she's quit, I don't believe the reason given.

Rita Ora has only been relevant for a year or two so I don't think it'll be her. I hope it's someone with a bit more experience. If they would get Sharon back or even Adele (although I'm not sure she would do it).

I don't mind Tulisa. The Likkle Muffins/She's age sixteen got a little grating but she was alright.

tulisa aka The Female Boss, hates any female who outshines her: Kelly, Nicole, whoever, cause they are all classier than her. wouldn't be surpised if that's the real reason shes quitting, infact she better quit before the faces the humiliation of being sacked

I hope this is true, she didn't look happy last year and I'd rather have enthusiastic judges.

Also I'm laughing at the people who seem to think Nicole had something to do with this because of rivalry scenarios you've created in your own head, when they've never come across like that on the shows. It's just embarassing.

This quite obviously isn't true, she's posted as much on twitter, and I really question what some people on here are watching - there quite obviously was no problem between Nicole and Tulisa, I have no idea how people manage to see her doing all these vile things when she appears perfectly pleasant, if a bit unenthusiastic, on the show.
