Jason's bad wig/hairpiece whatever.

I remember a few years ago Jason had a hair transplant that went badly wrong and left him in agony. He appeared on This Morning saying he was going to come out of the bald closet and wouldn't hide his baldness again, and yet now here he is wearing a rug that looks like its come from the same place that Sir Brucie and Terry Wogan got theirs from. Does he think its a good look? Why do ageing men of a certain age wear wigs? Don't they realise how silly they look?

He has looked more ridiculous in the past with his cap wearing antics.

Why would he be wearing a wig if he had a hair transplant?

Because the transplant went wrong. He even appeared bald headed on TM.

I thought he had a hair transplant during the last series he appeared on, which was why he wore a cap throughout, and then unveiled it as a successful hair transplant on This Morning?

Yeah he did. Vodka_drinks I think you''re mistaken. His hair is clearly his own. You can see his scalp. I can remember him unveiling it on TM.

That's what I thought too. His last hair transplant was successful and he did unveil it on This Morning. Previously to that he did have unsucessful treatment, but this hair transplant worked, hence why he has hair now - not a wig, OP.

But it looks a bit fake! It doesn't quite seem to match the hair at the sides.

to be honest, you're all right. Jason had a hair transplant, it went ok but then the hair started to thin again so he then had a 2nd transplant. I cant remember where I read it but I did!

I dont understand why I just razor mine off, there is no point getting upset by it!

Your other thread is "why does Jason have to get so personal" - this is more than a little hypocritical.

How so? He chooses to wear silly wigs and get hair transplants, commenting on how silly they look is not the same as saying someone looks like a piece of shit floating around a toilet or saying that someone is fat (basically what he said about Lauren, who's a lot slimmer than she used to be).

He said he was ashamed of being bald. In my opinion that's insulting all bald people, some of whom are bald through illness.

In any case a man being bald is often suggested as being a sign of virility - but then in Jason's case, he obviously doesn't want to be thought of as virile.
