Freezing Pate??

I got some Pate from Christmas and its near its use by date so wanted to know if you can Freeze Pate?

if so how long will it be ok in the Freezer?

Yes, you can freeze pate - no problem.

Anything with a high fat content, like pate, will taste less nice if it's been in the freezer for too long, but it'll be fine for a couple of months at least, I should have thought.

Pate is absolutely fine in the freezer. My mother in law makes her world famous pate for Christmas towards the end of November, freezes it then brings it out as needed. Tastes as good as if it was just eaten after being made. That said, agree with the post above, leave it in there too long it it might taste weird, but it'll be grand for a couple of months at least.
