Just premiered. What does everyone think? I found it dire got about a minute and a half in and gave up!

I actually quite like the vibe of the song, but I don't see how that is going to work as a comeback single. It's not a hit, it's an album track.

I can see why people don't like it- as it's not the upbeat mainstream lead single that we all wanted. But justin's always tried to break trends and that, he said it himself when releasing his last album. Personally, I quite like it- was really surprised how jazzy it was. And I love jay-z's feature. Yeah, I don't think it'll be a massive massive hit like sexyback was- but this is still a great song.

I like it. I like that he's not decided to follow trends. - that would be so reductive. And if he can bring a dying genre back into the mainstream then I'll be extremely happy.

I find it underwhelming. It's OK, but nothing that screams an actual hit. If the label decides to push this song, better off releasing it as a 4th or 5th single.

It's Justin though. I said on this forum before there's no way he'd ever release a song like Starships. I have so much respect for him, music isn't about getting big hits.

No one is mad that he released an R&B track I think most people who Justin's music will know his music is R&B/Pop I think people are just dissapointed that the song is not like a mega smash that they were expecting the song doesn't scream Big Comeback song. The songs growing on me though I'm liking it more and more.

I don't see what's with all the fuss about it - it is a nice RnB song. I agree it is a grower, but honestly, I'm just glad he stayed true to his RnB style and that he didn't go all generic electro music like everybody is doing these days.

Its a credit that after five years he can still sell on name alone but be honest its crap. It sounds so old and dated. I really expected something different but its like a left over from Future Sex/Love Sounds. Which is sad because that was such a game changer album. He risks ruining its legacy if he is trying to repeat that sound again. I do agree though with those saying they are pleased he hasn't gone down the genertic dance route.
