Whoop whoop, I guessed it

Especially after Eileen and Sean heard them shouting through the walls, I clocked they were going to go this way

Ok so Kirsty is going to
Spoiler

I'm really confused at this SL, why doesn't Tyrone just tell the police she's hitting him? And he didn't really think the whole marriage thing through did he?! If he marries Kirsty she'll have rights to the house..his money..the buisiness

It seems familiar. Has something similar been done in a soap?

Charlie Stubbs/Tracey Barlow I think

She said he'd been abusing her, when he hadn't.

You're too late

If he goes to the police, Kirsty will just run, and he will have no chance of getting Ruby. What he really needs is a DNA test done, not to marry Kirsty, but again she will simply leg it.

I really dont like the direction that this storyline is heading in now. They have done such a good job of highlighting that men can be victims of domestic violence too but now just to stretch it out they have to have the victim become the accused.

Even though I saw this coming a mile off, I just feel its irresponsible if the truth about Kirsty doesnt come out very very soon.

Surely no one will believe Kirsty though? Wouldn't Fiz, Tina and Tommy all back Tyrone up because they know Kirsty is the one abusing him?

I'm sure the writers will find some way to turn the three of them into social pariahs in time for Kirsty to make her accusation.

But I'm guessing the Fiz affair will be revealed to everyone, which isn't going to show him in a good light. People would just say that Fiz was backing Tyrone because of the affair, I'm not sure what will happen with Tina/Tommy.

It is stupid though, most have known Tyrone for years, he's like a teddy bear.

In EE Lil Mo hit Trevor over the head with an iron in self defence and was accused of attempted murder even though Trev was kicking the crap out of her on a regular basis

This is by far the most far-fetched storyline I have ever witnessed and because Fiz has been heavily involved in it says it all........

I dont watch Corrie anymore but i can guess Kirsty will exit at Halloween in a fire, repeating Trevor and Mo exactly just with the roles reversed.

Apart from his attack on Kevin at Molly's funeral
Realistically I think people would believe Tyrone, although Kirsty seems good at manipulating people with her lies so who knows.

I'll be very disappointed if they go down that route but they tend to do that in all the soaps these days. They should keep her on the show, not have her killed off in a fire or explosion. Been there, done that. I think Coronation Street have killed off every villain there has been (except Terry and Mad Maya)

He can simply go to the police and get her arrested without having to marry her and all this marriage stuff is a joke.

And Eileen has heard Kirstie screaming on numerous occasions as well as smashing up the house, Fiz, Tina and Tommy all know what she has done.

So in that respect that is how it is far-fetched!

Ah that was great when he clocked it was Kevin "... It was you!" and the coffin push!

Tyrone has either been out with, or is friends with nearly everyone in the street, so I can't imagine why people would go against him. Kirsty has actually shown irrational anger at quite a few people as well.

She's a good manipulator though, I agree. Plus, if she gets her hands on Tyrone's phone, I'm guessing she's going to delete the pictures of his bruises. So no evidence there.

I agree that now he has the pictures of his bruises, and the witnesses in Tina and Tommy he should go to the police. He couldn't before, as there wouldn't be anything evidence to charge Kirsty with, and she would just run off with Ruby once she realised what Tyrone was going to do.

Eileen can't make out what they're saying though can she? Only the sound of shouting, so she could twist that and say she was shouting as Tyrone beat her. Fiz wouldn't count as reliable, as she's been having an affair with Tyrone, I would say.

I can't believe how much they've messed up what WAS one of the best CS storylines in a long time. Still, at least we get to see more great acting from Natalie Gumede, regardless of the outcome.
