I'd go for Nine... I'd appreciate his seriousness and his sense of humour all at the same time. Eleven would be next on that list, but can sometimes get a bit too aloof to make me feel particularly safe.

4th is my favourite but I think I would have loved to have travelled with the 5th. I always thought he had a heroic air about him, he would look after you and fight for you!

Four for me. Think of all the jellybabies you could score. Plus you could hide Leela's clothes when she was in the swimming pool.

Nine for me. Even though Matt is my favourite doctor closely followed by Five it is Nine that would interest me the most. Plus his screen time was so awfully brief I would want to experience more stories with him. Plus his face. Its like a work of art. I think he would be the one I would get on best with.

Eight. Partly due to him having the best TARDIS Desktop Wallpaper.

11, definitely. But I don't know how I'd cope returning to normal life afterwards, unless I died.

4th, preferably with K9 and Romana 1.
Hey that means we'd be searching for the Key To Time aswell. Such fun.

Aside from the 3rd and 9th Doctors, I'd travel with any of them but if I had to pick a specific point, it'd have to be towards the end of the Fifth Doctor's Era and travel with him and Peri, my Dream Team.
Though I'd keep away from any dodgy looking caves though!

Isnt this kinda just a cheaty way of doing another "whose your favourite Doctor" thread?
I mean your not gonna want to travel with one you hate are you! Anyway, I went with Matt Smith, just cos he's the most fun, the coolest, and the most stylish. Though on 2nd thoughts, it might be a good idea to pick a classic series Doctor. After all, all the NuWho companions seemed doomed to a terrible ending. Classic series, you'd just say bye one day.

Second Doctor - He's fun, always tells you when to run and doesn't mind keeping a companion for a long time!
(Downside: Some of your adventures may be erased from history.) |

I voted 3rd although he's not my favourite. I think he'd look after me! I'd just have to bite my tongue when the moralising and patronising lectures started.
Poor 1st and 7th with no votes so far! I can understand why though. |

As I'm a middle aged man, I don't think Dr 9 -11 would even consider offering me a key.
My heart belongs to classic Who anyway and I should say Dr 4 or 5, (they were my Dr's) but, I want to travel with Dr 2, with a Tardis more like 5's I think I could be Watson to his Holmes... We might need a second companion, a young person to do most of the running though, my knee's aren't what they were. (This is a really sad confession, but even now, If I'm somewhere new, part of me is looking for the Tardis) |

I'd travel with the third, but only later on, when Sarah was with him.

I've always had a thing for the third Doctor. I think it is his haughty seriousness I like. I quite fancy roaming various planets snorting derisively at the craven behaviour of their politicians and myopic thinking of their scientists, while at the same time helping myself to their best wines and cheeses. I would learn how to spin on my heels and swish my cape as I left meetings in a huff. |

1, 6 and 9 are too prickly for me. 4 or 7 would be fun, but too likely to get distracted and ignore you in favour of something more interesting. 11 is a little too careless to feel safe with. So, 2 might be fun, and 10 if you like someone a little more of a showoff - but my vote would have to go with 5. The good-natured Doctor that would treat you as an equal and who would be most likely to go to the pub.
