PS Store SW Update
PSN Store has updated itself twice in the past 48 hours.
Really seems to process things a lot quicker now, no long load up times between screens, much slicker and an improved user experience. |

They'll probably get it sorted correctly about the same time the next PlayStation comes out.

PS Store's been a lot slower for me since the update & it seems to be taking a big frame-rate hit whenever i'm moving around items or selecting new categories. Just seems a lot more sluggish now?
Also something which I think was there before but im not sure, When changing the sorting it does it across all sections so im constantly having to switch between sorting by date & A-Z depending on what section im in & what sorting preference i want in that section. The sorting also seems broken, Im searching DLC listing by A-Z & its listing by add-on title rather than game title which is making things hard to find. Also wish they would group DLC by game as having tons of Rockband stuff & a hundred COD map packs or whatever come up individually just makes browsing take twice as long as it needs to. |

Doesn't seem any different 2 me ... but then again I wasn't having any problems with the store anyway!!!

The Playstation Store does not seem any different to me.
One think I would like Sony to add on the Playstation Store is the ability to search for what you are looking for. I know that there is already a search option but insted of just being able to choose a letter and then have one big list to go thought I want to be able to type in the name of a game and then it would come up with the results of that search. Also is there a You Tube app and a Dailymotion app on for the PS3? |

You can keep adding letters to the search function to narrow down your search, rather than just picking one letter.

I know this is slightly off topic but is there any categories now? Like in the old store, for themes, you had seasonal, sport, racing, etc, is that still excluded?

Every time I've tried to access the store today Ive got the 'Service currently undergoing maintenance' error & my PS3 has then crashed & needed to be reset.
