Ain't that the truth and also one of the nastiest ever. Apart from being a cheat he was vile along with it, anyone who dared to question him was hounded and he threw the threat of lawsuits around like confetti. Going on Oprah Winfrey like a whinge baby doesn't surprise me in the least, nor does her interviewing him surpirse me either. He shouldn't be given a platform for his excuses- he should be made pay back the money he earned under false pretences , apologise to those men and women he lambasted for having the decency to question him and then dissappear for good.

Don't worry, why do you think he's taking these steps? All those he's successfully sued for 'slander'/ 'libel' as well as former sponsors will be consulting their lawyers as we speak and will get back every penny, leaving him without a pot to p!ss in. Hopefully.

I'm not defending the bloke hes a cheat
but read that they didnt give his titles to the 2nd guy is the of the 7 years he won apart from 1 guy all 21 people in 2nd and 3rd were all caught using drugs at some point in there careers
so he was "best" of the cheats unfortunately

^^Because it lacks perspective? Ok, so he has used drugs to enhance his performance and tried to cover it up but that hardly makes him one of the nastiest men on the planet.

That's the sad thing about his whole situation ... The reason they know about Armstrong is because the drugs agency allowed other drug users immunity or shorter bans to grass him up... Most of the riders where doing the same as him.. Yet he is the only one they are screaming about

Oh so does that makes it alright then and how do you know that the drugs agency allowed others immunity to "grass" him up. The dogs on the street knew he was a big cheat and a rotten bully to boot. His treatment of David Walsh and vile comments pertaining to his late son and his hounding of Paul Kimmage has been disgraceful. He deserves every bit of punishment that is coming his way. I stand by my assessment that he is one nasty individual.

Surely the confession came when he was stripped of his 7 titles? That wasn't done without overwhelming proof. This will just be a PR opportunity to start repairing his reputation a bit.

Actually there are NO proof of any positive tests from Lance Armstrong.. Just the confessions of other drug using riders

If you knew anything about the American Drugs Agencys case you would know that they have given these others immunity and lesser sentences ... This case has been going on for years

Why would they leave themselves open to being humiliated by stripping him if he was innocent then?
They couldn't possibly strip him of his titles on the basis of other drug using riders confessions, what court in the land would that stand up in? He could rightly take them to court if that was the case, seeing as he hasn't it is pretty obvious that there is hard evidence against him. It may not be public but it has to exist.

Ok so all the tabloid headlines and the interview that Oprah Winfrey gave to the US press which I heard in my kitchen on the 6 O'Clock news this evening where he "confesses to his doping past" are a product of my imagination, I can assure you they are not!
