Fringe Finale Discussion Thread (saturday 19th January) 1:10am Sky One
Thought I might add this to begin our speculations about the finale and discuss the Finale when it airs on Sky 1 on Saturday 19th at 1:10am untl 3:10am.

I've just got done watching the most recent Sky One episode. Haven't been a big fan of this season, I think it's a let-down to a fantastic show. The last episode (with Nina dying) was pretty good, but I'm just not a fan of the whole 'Observers take over the world, collect tapes to stop them' plot. I much preferred it when they were mixing it up with a variety of 'monster/case of the week' and 'alternate dimension story arc' stuff. I am really hoping they can deliver a satisfactory finale though

This is a simulcast with the east coast of USA. so why is it starting 10 mins later?

I meant in the US it starts at 8pm on Friday. But here it starts 5 hours and 10 mins later.

Because they will want time to edit in their own ad breaks. I think the US have more frequent ad breaks than the UK and I'm sure there's regulations about the amount of ads that can be shown within an hour. Showing it on a delay just makes it easier.
I'll be watching it from about 1.30 so I can start skipping through the ads. |

I thought last night's episode was excellent, loved seeing 2609 at last (although I was expecting the pollution to be even worse).

More than any sci-fi show I've ever seen, I have complete faith in the Fringe writers to deliver. I'm just gutted it has to end.
