If you can show me a single routine where he was actually in time with Frankie for more than half of it (or more than a quarter of it) I'll agree that Chris deserved sixes, but... go and watch them. It's a mess. His skills were good, for a solo speed skater, but he didn't have a clue how to stay in time.

There WAS a lack of connection between Chris and Frankie, that was a big part of the problem. I agree that Chris has improved enormously and his partnership with Brianne was great but back in series 3, his skating lacked precision, his timing was off more often than not and his presentation skills were also lacking. Suzanne wasn't as good as Chris to begin with but she caught up by the end of the series and had a perfect night in the final, which is why she won and not Chris.
His performances did excite me more but a talented male celebs generally always do, maybe its that they can do the lifts (I know they say the female celeb has just as much to do with a successful lift, but it doesn't have the same impact for me.) |

Much as he was a hockey skater and did bomb around a bit, I enjoyed Chris' go-for-it attitude and found his performances entertaining. However I think Suzanne sealed the final particularly with her flying performance which was easily the best of those for me on any series when it was done.

I'm aware his performance in the final is why he didn't win.

I also preferred Chris & Frankie's bolero - never rated Suzanne's as it was too lift heavy & didn't flow enough for me. |

I remember wanting Chris to win all the way through, but Suzanne was amazing in the final

The flyng to Time to say goodbye probably clinched it for Suzanne. Women have an advantage yes in the flying but that really was magical. I remember watching it. Only Ray Quinn's Bolero has had the same impact on me since.

she was perfect on the night and was better for me as I look more at the dancing than the skating and Suzanne was the better dancer on the ice
