Britney Spears - have you noticed when she does interviews?
It's like she doesn't know anything about her career.
If the interviewer asks her a question about where is her next gig or anything, she has to look to her manager for the answer. It's like she still has no control over her life whatsoever and too afraid to make her own stand on the way she wants her career to go. Even judging on X Factor USA - her managers have to sit near to her on another table. What happened to her!! She's 32 and still can't make a decision on her own. |

Does her father still have the conservatorship? But even if he doesn't, she had her affairs taken out of her hands for a long time. In effect, it was almost a regression to childhood, and it may be that she's become too used to other people taking charge of her life for her.
Don't get me wrong; the state she was in, I think the conservatorship was necessary. Without it, she might be where Lindsay Lohan now is, or perhaps even worse. But it has perhaps left an unfortunate legacy. If she's stable, it's maybe in her best interests if she's gradually forced to take responsibility for more things. |

I don't like watching her anymore. I just feel sad for her, she seems so uncomfortable being interviewed.

She's probably that used to having her career spelt out to her as she's been in the business so long, maybe it's how she feels more comfortable acting.

She has a severe mental illness, conservatorships are only granted to very special cases where adults are entirely unable of completing basic tasks. So there's that, as well as all the medication she is on.
She tries her best in spite of her problems, and her family seem to want the best for her. Her workload is suspect, but it is likely that she becomes a danger to herself if she isn't constantly distracted by work or a goal. |

I very much doubt Britney has ever had any sort of control over her entire career. I've always found her quite boring in interviews because she's so obviously media trained and always has a practised answer for every question. I don't think she even knows what city she's going to next until the day before. I love Britney but you have to remember she's essentially been a Barbie doll for the record label to mould since she was a kid into this perfect pop star.
When I was interning in a magazine a few years ago we were shooting her for an issue, although I wasn't there for the actual shoot, I was helping to request the clothes, and her management sent over a HUGE list of what she could/couldn't wear, how she should have her hair styled, what make-up she has to have on etc. Probably the reason she looks so messy when she doesn't have to be ON. |

If this is the case - should she really still be on television and touring (her heart is not on that at all, she doesn't want to be on stage)
Kind of sad. You would think if it is the fame and pressure which made her have the meltdown she would take a break from it all and focus on her kids. |

It seems very tiresome but those paps actually seemed not that bad in that clip (only watched the first minute or so.) But when they guy was yelling back, they were telling each other to get back too and backing up. Can't imagine many others doing so.

britney's making money even if it's just a shoot or an interview.
If britney retires the people around her won't get paid I feel sorry for her she needs to step away from the limelight. |
