Connect?
Hi, I have my youview box coming this week to replace my btv box. Will youview work with connect-tv (think its channel 123???).

No, it won't. The Connect and Space services use an access protocol that is not accessible by many, if not majority, of devices (both boxes and smart TV's) and YouView is one of them.

There service seems a little pointless if most devices can't connect to them.

This situation may change. As Arqiva, a YouView Stakeholder, have just bought out Connect TV -

Yes, will work in a forthcoming software update though I think it's scheduled in for the Summer. After which all YouView boxes will be able to access them. Don't forget all current and some previous Freeview HD receivers, PVRs and TVs can get the Connect channels too.
