Can anyone recommend a good Bluetooth car kit for my iPhone 5. Not one of those cheapy things. I'm prepared to pay for a really good one.

I've always found Parrot good and reliable mate. I had the model a couple before this - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165571 and it worked grand. I have an older model now which has a really small screen and doesn't play music but it's just as good also.

You could probably find it cheaper than Halfords, I just went there to find the device to show you.

Bury do one called the CC9060 Music. Allows either BT streaming of music/sat nav or has a lead that can charge the iPhone (4/4s). You may want to see if they do a lightning connector.

You can control the music via the kits touch screen if needed

Thanks for that also. Looks interesting but don't think they have iPhone 5 one as you say. I'll fire off an email and find out.

There's always some issue isn't there. Now trying to find out if my Peugeot 406 2002 Hdi has the JBL amplifier or not. I don't think it does so this car kit would be great.
Parrot's compatibility checker says JBL with Amp or JBL without Amp..... how the hell do I know

According to a Peugeot forum I found on googling if it has the JBL amp then you will find said article in the boot. It also suggests that the JBL amp is fitted along with JBL speakers and that there may be JBL logos on the speakers.

Thanks mate. Why didn't I think of that. I'm a flippin computer bloke. Duh
Seems the JBL speakers/AMP was fitted to top spec cars. Mines a mid range Turbo diesel. This is good news as it means I have a standard ISO connector. Excellent.
I'm in danger of being told to move this to a car based thread so I'll stop.

I always go for the good old Sony Ericsson bluetooth kits. They're anything from £15 to £35 on eBay normally. They take around 20 minutes to fit to your car once you remove the stereo and they're fantastic. They merge with your stereo and work through the car's sound system.

I find they often work better than the Parrot kits at a fraction of the price. The only downside is that they don't do caller display, but for the price you can't go wrong.

Thanks for that. I'll take a look.
