yeah sucks...

i put ps3 on at 5pm and couldnt sign in
played some single player for a while ...got bored
when is it due back on

It's an entire network scan so it all has to be off, soooo, ...yeah, it's going to be night somewhere in the world for some regions.

It is slightly annoying for me, I received my shiny new PS3 in the post about an hour before it went down. First Playstation of any sort I've owned, slightly bad timing on my part.

Just you I think. The store is still down but I can login to the PSN without any problems. There are loads of people logged in on my friends list as well.

I always find it hilarious how EVERY time there's maintenance, you always get one person going "OH TYPICAL, I've not played my PS3 for months and the ONE DAY I choose to play a game and the PSN is down!"

There is no reason that you can't play it the vita works without being signed in

If its a case of needing to sign into an account when setting it up, i'm 99% there is a do it later option
