Anybody have one of these Smart TVs and the dongle that's supposed to get all the Smart features? How good is it? I'm more interested in the software updates I can get for the TV than anything else to be honest, though. Can anybody offer any advice? Cheers.

The dongle does not add Smart TV features it adds Wi-Fi connectivity. If you have a Smart TV now and connect it via Ethernet you will still get the same features after you install it, just via wireless instead.

And you should be able to call up the Smart TV features even without any network connection, to at least see what sort of services it can access when you do connect to your router.

Depending on how far your tv is from your wireless router, sometimes it's not worth getting a dongle. My Samsung smart tv has wifi built in but I don't use it as I prefer having it hard wired and it gives...imo...a better and more stable connection.
