Well, I guess they must have done something to engage viewers

On our polls here, for instance, the 'Who do you THINK will win, question, has Rylan in the lead

On the 'Who do you WANT to win' poll, however. Spiedi are out in front

But they don't do anything. We were promised all sorts of fiery arguments and Machiavellian plotting but all we get is bitching behind people's backs. They've contributed nothing.

And it was Rylan that started the one major arguement all series. Speidi are like Anton in BB12, big themselves up in the Diary Room and do absolutely nothing in the house.

I remember when the producers went out of their way to manipulate drama...

It's the British viewiing public that will decide not the few people who vote on here

Funny that half of Gillian's interview on BBBOTS was about them then.

Speidi have been accused of everything on here, now they're accused of doing nothing.

It shows how bad this series has been, in a great series no doubt they'd have just been part of the crowd. In this poor series, even I am like 'Oh my god they're awesome *swoon*'

Okay? Gillian's BOTS interview has nothing to do with the fact that Speidi have done nothing but bitch. The producers have now engineered three twists to get them to the finale, that doesn't change that a spade is a spade.

Did you watch last Saturday's HL's OP? If they're so boring why is the majority of talk in the house, on BOTS and on this forum about them?

Agree with these. Don't like them personally but wanted to see them in there causing 'controvesy'. Soon became apparent they couldn't even do that. Fur coat no knickers comes to mind

They are the only ones who contributed to the biggest talking point of the series with the argument.

Without them, it would be worse.

Look at how much talk Conor produced in BB13. Does that somehow make him not boring? Hell no.

They haven't contributed anything themselves. The producers put them in situation after situation and engineered "controversy." Put someone else in that position and they'd be the biggest talking point.

The show would be infinitely better without them. Their presence forever keeps a "Speidi vs. the House" storyline that's been way too drawn out and has run its course. Take out Speidi and the clique would be forced to turn on each other and we would actually have a chance to have some real drama in the House.

BIB that's a totally different scenario. Conor was talked about because he was a violent bully and he wouldn't have been as talked about if it wasn't for that incident. Speidi are talked about every day because they provide entertainment.

They don't provide entertainment though. Bitching behind people's backs and never confronting them isn't entertaining, it's juvenile at best.

Have you been watching the show. They argued back with Rylan and Ryan last week and they confronted Frankie yesterday about what he said about them.

I think the bigger question is if YOU have been watching the show. Rylan's the one who started the argument. Spencer said in the DR right before reentering the House that he was done with these people and wasn't going to say anything to them. If Rylan didn't confront them, there's no fight.

And the situation with Frankie exemplifies the problems with Speidi. They had a problem with him, he brought it up and told them to grow up, and all they did was walk away and mutter under their breath with empty threats. They're supposed to be this big villains but all they've proven to be are cowards.

Or it would just turn into a happy house as none of them actually care enough to turn on each other (besides nominations which they all have to do). They're all in there to collect their money and go home without causing a fuss. It's no wonder so much of the show has focused on Speidi and Rylan.

They'd be forced to turn on each other. All the scapegoats (Lacey, Paula, Sam) are gone and they'd have to nominate people. The reason it's been a happy house was because of the "Speidi vs. the House" mentality that's been forced upon them. They all have a common enemy and all use their second nomination on someone outside of the clique.

Well yes, of course it is

... but this is the forum you, and I, and others, discuss the show on ... and on this forum, the majority seem to want Spiedi to win

That's just a factual observation

^This, definitely. They try to talk a big game in the Diary Room but as soon as they come out they just sit on the couch looking moody for the rest of the day. They haven't been entertaining because they've done basically sod all. Just because their handful of sycophants on this forum start 15 new threads about them per hour doesn't mean the show would be nothing without them, it's already nothing, they are as boring and pointless as the rest

The nomination drama wouldn't have happened because they all get along and know that they each have to nominate someone. All of them would be as guilty as each other.

They stood up to Rylan though but according to you they don't ever confront anyone.

Actually when Frankie told them to grow up, Spencer replied with "Now you've told us to grow up i'm pissed at you", not excactly walking away is it?
