I hope so as I got into the writers academy which is how I got a tour of the set and I'm waiting to hear what's happening

What happened to this? I thought they were making another series of it yet nothing was announced and it just got forgotten!

Perhaps DTC doesn't want to make another series of it.

They did that Kim thing instead. I am not a big fan of any of these spin offs. I mean we ended up with Fatboy because of them

They're currently hiring for this position so I'd say we're likely to see some form of online spinoffs in the future although maybe not E20.

So much of the EE budget is allocated to online content. The EastEnders online content in general has been in decline for about 3 years now. Hollyoaks is leading the field on social media and EastEnders need to catch up with them if they want to stay ahead. I think the reason Hollyoaks won at the BSAs is purely because of its online community being so involved with the fans. Perhaps the BBC have realised this and are planning a shake up.
