I really laughed at his routine of shuffle-shuffle deal-deal-deal.

I think he's great!

Straight talking, real and just likeable for some reason. At least he isn't fake.

What he was before has little to do with it - he is funny, end of.

I certainly can't see why any woman would like him or find his opinions acceptable in this day and age.”

I completely agree.

IMO he's the most unsavoury character in there. He's still got the old dressing room laddish banter that endears him to certain people (discussions about erections and farting), yet his on-pitch nasty side is never far away - he could be seen giving Ryan and Rylan demos on fighting last night.

Not to mention his noms-talk, snoring, ball-scratching and gusset airing, legs akimbo.”

Yes agree, apart from all that you mention, I cannot forget how he relished at breaking someones leg. His only regret was that he hadn't broken two.

Eh no not end of, this is a thread for discussion and different opinions, and what you said is an opinion/statement, not a fact, end of.

You do realise after thirteen years that the reasons for nominations are dragged out of them over the course of about thirty minutes, then edited to look as though they just say them straight away?

He probably has no problem at all with Lacey, he was just less close to her than the others and that's the only reason he could dream up.

For such a BB fan, you can't have watched a lot of it. Diary Room Uncut used to show the full nominations and they took so long, you only ever saw about three of them.

You want to get your fact rights before you practice faux moral outrage.. He broke both legs but in interview expressed regret at the incidence whilst attaching a (albeit tasteless) joke saying he only meant to break one. Anyone who knows anything about football knows its impossible to purposely break a leg of course you can go in too hard but too gauge how many legs your gonna break in a tackle is just bluster. Of course everyone gets offended because the generation nowadays take offence at everything just to show how great their moral compass is.
If your gonna play a mans game prepare for man hurt, I'd love to see some posters here watch a full game of rugby especially when they're really going all out for each other..most would call for a immediate ban I bet.

That's the problem with British culture these days. If you've been a footballer, comedian, film star etc it's quite acceptable and actually applauded if you are rude, unshaven, slovenly in appearance, speak in mumbles, go around threatening people and calling them c**ts. That's the British way don't you know and Americans better get used to it because Americans are... (fill in the blank)

HOWEVER....If they make enough dosh by the time they retire...it's off to California to live.. quicker than you can say 'I hate Americans'.

Agreed he keeps going on as if he had a reputation as a hard man when he played football, all I can remember is a big spud who was too slow to catch cold.

Apologies, he broke two legs but only meant to break one!

That's not so bad then, albeit said in jest. Please refrain from saying what I practice as you do not know me!

I don't like him much either OP. What has he done?? He's scratching his way to the final
rapscallion.

Just goes to show how low we've sunk when the same fat c*** who once elbowed Peter Beardsley's cheekbone into three pieces is somehow considered likeable by some people.
