I want to do an internet radio show and since i don't have the fancy equipment apart from a external microphone that i can plug in to my laptop, i was wondering if there is a way i can record with both stereo mix and the microphone enabled at the same time?

I've already looked at tutorials regarding this but i don't get the result i need.

You should be able to on a home computer, but probably not on a laptop (as they don't have multiple audio inputs).

Behringer do a Pod Cast kit which seems to do what you need?.
