You might notice that the Duckworth place looks a bit different here, apparently they've had to put new cladding up (in real life, not in the show, lol)

I'll share some more pics in a bit

Awesome. How did you wangle that one then? One of my greatest regrets is not visiting the set when it was open to the public.

Was it as big as it seems on screen? Corrie's set seemed tiny compared to what it seems like on screen, though Underworld was massive (the interior)

We saw the new set from the bridge near the BBC too, I could just tell from looking over at it that it will be so much bigger xD

Nice pics, another jealous-as-hell person here...

They have taken the duckworths sign down too!!
That "Old Rectory" sign hasn't been there since 2011... it was mentioned on here at the time.

The studio interior of the Rovers was surprisingly small too, little factoid, you'd assume that the Rovers stairs turn right, right? Wrong.

Another broken quality of the interior Rovers

And Victoria Court is full, and has twenty flats

A little detail you will never see on screen (at least not this close), Nick's Bistro's menu

Also, lookie what I found in the medical centre

Wow, thanks, OP, liked the pics

I must be oblivious to this, but I didn't know you could go and visit the set.

I went from college to Granada Studios circa 1995, and anybody who has that footage, I would gladly take off their hands if it meant seeing me

The beans on toast in the Cafe, definitely are not real

It's not open to the public anymore

Apparently the food they use in the cafe actually is real now, due to HD

A well deserved reward for your services then! I'd love to visit the set of Emmerdale or Doctors.... actually I'd just love a job on either, full stop.

Thank you for sharing your pics, it's really nice to see what the sets look like in reality. So great to see little details like Nick's Bistro menu and the names of the residents of Victoria Court, things you wouldn't see on screen.

Aww I am impressed!

I would love to have a real nosey round the set - thank you for putting up the photographs.

Perhaps I am being thick but are Victoria flats real? with real people living in the other flats?

although i did visit the street sometime in the 90's when the tours were open, would be great if they started doing them again

In Underworld, one of the notice boards had an order for Chesney on also, one of the boxes was labelled as the fabled McNees order

Did they give you a guided tour? They did when I went in 97. I remember we walked down a corridor and the sets such as the cafe were at the side. Do they still have the sets like that?
