My visit to Weatherfield
http://i46.tinypic.com/1ze8up5.jpg
Proof motherfrickers ![]() Real Rovers interior http://i50.tinypic.com/rr37tx.jpg (Its seriously tiny xD) http://i48.tinypic.com/adjejb.jpg You might notice that the Duckworth place looks a bit different here, apparently they've had to put new cladding up (in real life, not in the show, lol) I'll share some more pics in a bit

Awesome. How did you wangle that one then? One of my greatest regrets is not visiting the set when it was open to the public.

Cool I've been to the EastEnders set which was amazing
We saw the new set from the bridge near the BBC too, I could just tell from looking over at it that it will be so much bigger xD |

Was it as big as it seems on screen? Corrie's set seemed tiny compared to what it seemed in real life, though Underworld was massive (the interior)

The studio interior of the Rovers was surprisingly small too, little factoid, you'd assume that the Rovers stairs turn right, right? Wrong.

Wow, thanks, OP, liked the pics
![]() I must be oblivious to this, but I didn't know you could go and visit the set. I went from college to Granada Studios circa 1995, and anybody who has that footage, I would gladly take off their hands if it meant seeing me ![]() The beans on toast in the Cafe, definitely are not real

Aww I am impressed!
I would love to have a real nosey round the set - thank you for putting up the photographs. Perhaps I am being thick but are Victoria flats real? with real people living in the other flats?

Did they give you a guided tour? They did when I went in 97. I remember we walked down a corridor and the sets such as the cafe were at the side. Do they still have the sets like that?
