Does anyone else like Brandy Clark? I've been listening to "12 Stories" on Apple Music a lot lately. It's a great album.

She writes a lot for other people. Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves included.

I believe that "12 Stories" is her first released album though. Maybe she felt more comfortable writing with other people rather than being on a stage herself?...

Two female singers . The first Cam has the more authentic Country voice , but Hayley who follows has more grit

Cam Ochs - Half Broke Heart

Carrie Underwood is playing the iTunes festival tonight (21/09) in London. Hopefully it'll be streamed. she's the first country artist to do so.

I'm hoping to get Little Big Town tickets at some point this week. The thought of (hopefully) getting them will get me through work this evening..

I got to see Little Big Town at the Brooklyn Bowl at the O2 in London last night. They were amazing I'm so glad that I got tickets.

They were there with "Country To Country" as yesterday was announcement day for the festival. It takes place over three nights in March. Miranda Lambert , Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Ashley Monroe and Kacey Musgraves are amongst some of the names playing at the festival next year.

I'm a big fan of Miranda, I'd love to see her live. To the best of my knowledge, she has never played in the UK. I'm seriously considering getting tickets to see her on the Friday night.

It's really good! We only managed to go the first year in 2013 so saw Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town then too, as well as LeAnne Rimes, Darius Rucker, Vince Gill (my mum LOVES him!), Tim McGraw, Brantley Gilbert and Kristian Bush. It's such a good event.

We're going on the Saturday and Sunday this year, can't wait to see Carrie again. It'll be my fourth time seeing her live! Little Big Town are great live too. You'll love it!

I can't wait to see LBT again. I was lucky enough to get tickets to see them at the Brooklyn Bowl on the C2C launch night event this month.

C2C is brilliant. I've got tickets in the front section for all three days. March was my first time going and I had a great time. One tip is make sure you get to the arena early each day and check out the free pop-up stages, Sam Hunt was doing shows on one of the stages last year and now he is on the main stage with a few number 1's too his name.

One of my favourite albums right now is by Striking Matches. I'd definitely check them out, if you watch Nashville you may recognise some of the songs as a few of their songs have been featured.

I'll definitely be getting there early to check out the unsigned talent outside. Didn't realise that there were pop up stages in the arena too.

I've tried Striking Matches but it's not for me sadly. I know that some of their stuff has been used in Nashville. maybe I'll give them another go at some point.

I've just ordered my copy of "Tornado" by Little Big Town. It's a great album though it's not in my collection.

Sorry I did just mean getting to the O2 early rather than actually entering the concert arena. They did have the satellite stage last year which I think they are including again which has other artists on during the break on the main stage.

It's a great weekend either way. So good that country is starting to build an audience in this country where we can sell out the O2 for three straight days.

While waiting for a new album from Alison Krauss and Union Station I'm listening to the "new" album produced by Alison for The Cox Family - Gone Like The Cotton. This album was started many years ago but shelved due to record label changes and has only recently been completed.

I've woken to find Carrie Underwood's new album in my download collection whilst waiting for the CD to arrive. It's wonderful

Renegade Runaway
Dirty Laundry
Smoke Break
Choctaw County Affair

are personal highlights on the first listen.

^ There has been a lot of talk about Chris Stapleton, hasn't there? I'd never heard of him before last month when I saw Little Big Town at the C2C launch in London.

I've been listening to the albums by Little Big Town. I find them a confusing group for me: some songs I really like and some I dislike! I prefer the softer songs rather than those which I suppose are called Country Rock.

I love them but I do understand what you mean. They shine on tracks like "Girl Crush" , "Night Owl" (my favourite) & "Your Side Of The Bed".

I'm listening to his album on Spotify at the moment. Very good it is, too.t

As it turns out, he's been known for a long time in the country music circles but is only just making a name for himself worldwide now. Good for him

Giving Thomas Rhett's music a listen to seeing as he's at Country 2 Country next year. I don't really know what to make of it, at the moment. Maybe it'll take a couple of more listens. I'm only listening to his first album at the moment but I know that one was also released this year.

Carrie Underwood is set to perform her new single "Heartbeat" on this week's X Factor.

This is the only reason that I would tune in to that show. This will likely be promotion for her album "Storyteller" and for next year's Country 2 Country festival. I'm looking forward to her performance, and especially the epic montage before she sings.

Thank you for the information. I must confess to usually recording shows like X-Factor then fast forwarding through virtually the whole show apart from some of the performances. Some of the guest singers are good - some are IMO worse than the contestants!
