That's exactly what I do. That or find it on YouTube at a later date. I'll be working until Monday at 3 so I won't be able to catch up anyway.

60s, 70s and 80s Country music was incredible, today's crop in the main is ordinary IMO

Carrie Underwood took part in James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" the other day. I've never seen one of these before as I haven't really been interested in the artists that he's done it with in the past but this is a lot of fun and I'm sure Carrie fans will enjoy it

Can't get over how great Chris Stapleton is. I'm honestly regretting not getting tickets to the sunday event at Country 2 Country. I'd go if I didn't have work at 6am the following morning.

I saw this too

I can't help but like James Corden. I know he gets a lot of stick but he seems like a nice enough guy to me. Glad to see that he's having success across the pond. I'm a big "Gavin & Stacey" fan too, so that helps.

I guess that everyone reading this thread watches Keep It Country Music on the Showcase TV channel (Sky 261, Freesat 402, Freeview HD 254)?

There is a new channel called Keep It Country TV being launched on 24 January which will have country music 24 hours a day. At long last a true replacement for CMT Europe which ran from 1992 to 1998. Whether the channel can be successful or not remains to be seen.

Ever since his going forward this past October, its been nothing but Billy Joe Royal for me. I heard a fair deal of his material when I was a kid, but I never knew who I was really missing out on until his disappearance and I couldn't be anymore ashamed of how late I myself was, I love him so much.

God bless you and his family always!!!

Holly

P.S. So far, I have seven of his albums and earlier today, I placed an order for six more. I also have the VHS of his that contains six of his videos. How else can you tell someone who isn't here anymore that you love them?

Just heard Dierks Bentley's new song. Absolutely awful. The album has got to better than the lead single.

Apparently it started on Sky but will take a few weeks to get onto Freesat (no idea about Freeview HD).

I'm sure it will be a mixture of programmes and videos (some good, some not so good). I had been enjoying the weekly Keep It Country Music two hour programmes, but I recorded them so I could skip the acts I don't particularly enjoy (I do prefer the female singers ).

I'm looking forward to the C2C weekend in March. As I'm not actually making the trip to London I'll be listening to the BBC Radio's Digital Station which will have some great programmes.

Of course, what I'd really like is some TV coverage - perhaps there'll be something on the red button?

I'll be there this time next month. I can't wait.

I only have three more work days before my week (possibly 2) off of work. I have loads planned including C2C.

I cannot wait to see Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town. I'm so excited. I'm wishing that I had tickets to the Sunday night as well seeing as it's looking likely that I won't have to go to work on Monday, providing that the second week's holiday goes through okay.

I noticed the other day that Crocodile Shoes (the story about an aspiring country music singer, played by Jimmy Nail) is being repeated by Drama. I enjoyed it when it was first shown in 1994 so am looking forward to seeing it again.

Unfortunately it started last weekend with two episodes, so if this is news to you watch out for episode 3 on Sunday at 11.10 pm, followed by episode 4 on Monday at 12.25 am.

The majority of it during the day is Irish Country, which I don't really care for at all. Amateurish videos, bad covers of popular American songs (a middle aged woman trying to cover Taylor Swift - Mean anyone?) And (probably) Daniel O'Donnell on repeat.

Yes. I was there all three nights. I cried through some of Chris's set. Phenomenal talent.

It was among the best (possibly the best) I've had the pleasure to witness live.

Did you catch any of Charlie Worsham's sets in the pop up stages? He was a joy to listen to and one to watch I think.

Yes! I caught his set on Saturday at the town square. Very good, I thought. managed to see Maren Morris on Sunday too.

Old Dominion were wonderful on Sunday in the Brooklyn Bowl. I'd heard great things about their set at the aftershow party on Saturday and rushed over to see their set on Sunday. missed a thousand horses though I wasn't aware of them but I heard that their surprise set was amazing. Gutted that I missed it.

I caught Old Dominion at the aftershow party and they were great. We hadn't intended to stay long but once they started playing we were convinced otherwise!!

I didn't get to see a Thousand Horses either -- also heard great things about them from the people sitting beside me in the arena. I saw Maren Morris on the Yamaha stage and wanted to catch her again on Sunday but missed it (so much to listen to!!)

I've added a lot of music to my collection since Sunday!!

It was my first year there and I only felt like I took full advantage of everything on Sunday, sadly.

My season three boxset of "Nashville" arrived this morning. Watching the first episode now. I did watch it as it was screened in the UK with Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
