Which phone? iPhone 5 v Nokia Lumia 920 v HTC 8X
Hi people,
My contract is coming to an end soon and it's time to decide which phone to get. Currently got iPhone 4, been very reliable, cannot fault it really. Also got a macbook so it's good that everything syncs up via the iCloud etc. Been looking at these windows 8 phones and I have to say they do look impressive. Also thinking of switching from Orange to EE so I can enjoy 4G with my new handset. If you were in my position what would you do? Thanks |

For me the decision would be an easy win got the Nokia.
But it is a very personal decision. Funnily enough I just spoke to a mate of mine who said he was deciding between a Chinese and a pizza. |

I have only used the iphone and I also had a 4s. It is very much more of the same but I like iPhones and iTunes and what they do so I would recommend the 5
The Nokia looks really good also, hopefully someone with experience of the various phones will be along to help you soon. |

I am very happy with Lumia 920. If you want to try something new, I'd go for the Lumia.

I had a call from T-Mobile this morning offering an early upgrade as my contract ends soon. I asked the nice chap on the other end to look at some iphone deals. He told me about the EE network and i was tempted to look at EE for their deals like 2 for 1 cinema vouchers etc. I then asked him to look at plans for a iphone 5 as soon as he said plans start from £36 per month i said no way. Who pays that kind of money for a phone anyway?
Then he told me the cost of the handset on a T-Mobile plan and i wasn't keen on £300.00 for a new handset. Do they give in if you do a bit of haggling to get the price lower? |

I'd wait until the new release of the Blackberry X10. Looks really good from what I can see from preview videos.

it is all really depends on the apps you going to be wanting and the size of the phone you want. since iphone 5 is tiny compared to lumia 920 for instance.
