Android Gmail App issues

Hey,

I am using the default gmail app that came with my nexus 4 and I have an annoying issue.

When ever someone sends me a file such as a .zip it won't let me open it, is there any way around this?

Thanks

Gormond

What does it do when you try to open it? Have you installed a ZIP app to open it?

Edit: I use AndroZip.

Yeah I have installed that to.

When I try and open the .zip file in the email it says 'You can't save or open this file because this type of attachment might contain malicious software'.

Even though I know it doesn't and also have AVG installed.

It actually feels like a very apple thing to do, if I want to open a zip file it should let me!

Ironically I could open them fine on my iPhone lol
