1000th Number 1
Jamfocus
29-12-2004
The 1000th number 1 is on its way.

And many people are predicting that Elvis Presley may get it.

Every Elvis Number 1 is going to be released each week for 17 weeks to celebrate 70 years since Elvis's birth. The release dates are January 3 to April 25, begining with All Shook Up and ending with A Little Less Conversation.

All Shook Up is not eligible for the number 1 spot because its in a collectors box, so Jailhouse Rock is being re-released on the same day, in an effort to clinche the 1000th number 1.

Will anyone go out and buy Jailhouse Rock?

I tell you what I'd like to be the 1000th chart topper:

ALMOST HERE ~Delta Goodrem & Brian McFadden,
which is released on 24th January.

Not heard Almost Here yet, I should like it so far i've enjoyed Brian McFaddens music.

Don't think it will be eligible for the 1000th chart topper tough ad its a week or so before when the 1000th is annonced. It could get something like 1002nd number 1.

Of course Pelvis will get the 1000th number 1, the media will make sure of it, to create their idyllic fairytale news stories - like the ones you see at the end of ITV news usually.
