That is an interesting point.

Spot on! Boring and nasty. And I'm no wiser as to what the others are like in real life as we rarely saw them. Hardly any tasks either. No hardships. Just Speidi--the we NOW know hired & scripted actors. Awful.

Oh I don't you can deny we have seen just as much, if not more, of Rylan. He has been BB's winner from day one.

I must admit I'm glad it's over now. It always felt as if BB just couldn't be bothered to make an effort because they had paid for two expensive court jesters, and were expecting them to run the show for them.

I've barely watched these last few days. Is there any point in having a final at? After all we all know that Rylan is going to win, Five have ensured that by only showing him and Speidi and practiclly ignoring everyone else. I also find Razor to be quite hideous, very bitchy and up himself. Someone should maybe remind him that he's only in there due to Jim Davidson's misfortune.

Speaking of which, I wonder how different it would have been with Jim in there?

Well said, agree with all of that.

Yes, interesting, I don't think Rylan would have had half the limelight he has had if Jim Davidson had gone in.

The producers would never need to manufacture conflict if Jim was in there because he just can't help being offensive. He has some very questionable opinions on women, gay people and ethnic minorities.

It would have been a very different series that's for sure, watching how the other housemates dealt with him. Far better than the drivel we are being subjected to now.

Interesting to see what his take would be on Speidi's relationship!

well I don't think that Jim and rylan would have had an Alliance. So that for a start would have been different.

There have been plenty of rubbish series of Big Brother. I don't think this is a great series but it doesn't stand out as the very worst. It has relied too much on Speidi and Rylan but at least they are still in there at the end. I have found it difficult to really enjoy any of the C5 series because of the new style of editing and presentation etc. but I stick with it out of loyalty to the format I suppose. I think CBB8 stands out as a particularly bad series - poor HMs, not much conflict or interaction, few proper nominations, fake, set-up scenes with Jedward etc.
